Login using your University Windows logon username and password.
From the Finder Go menu select Connect to Server.
The Connect to Server window appears.

Type the name of the server and the share you wish to connect to, preceded with smb://
► The I drive will be smb://lytchett/intrastore
► Your H drive will be smb://frome/yourusername (if you have logged on with your Windows logon
ID and password, you should not need to map your H drive manually)

Press to add it to your favourites list.

Press .
As the connection is established, you may see a progress bar.
Note:
If you are logged in with a local account on the Mac, rather than your normal Windows logon you will be
prompted to enter your username and password.
Ensure you select Registered User and enter staff\ (or bournemouth\ for students) prior to your logon
ID, as below.

If you the Mac
should not prompt you for your password again (unless you
have changed it). This does mean you will need to ensure
your Mac is secure when you leave it, as anyone using your
local logon will have access to your network drive as you.
Once connected, the window will appear.
To ensure that these drives are mapped every time you log in
to this Mac.
From the Dock open the System Preferences tool.
