							Happy New Year!

It is wonderful to begin another year, partnering with you and anticipating what God will
do for each of us and in the work of starting a church in Baojhong Township,
Taiwan. Thank-you for your enduring commitment to pray and support the global efforts
that are being made to grow God’s kingdom in Taiwan and other worldwide locations.

Praise God with us for the results of the Christmas outreach in Taiwan:

 103 people come from the community came the evening of Dec. 23 to hear the
Christmas story at the “Christmas Passport” event in Sihhu.
 23 people attended the Christmas Eve showing of “The Nativity.”
 Many received copies of the Jesus DVD
 Songshan Alliance Church also helped to carol and distribute tracts and candy
bags in the Sihhu and Baojhong markets.
 More than 60 attended the Christmas event in Yuanchang, and others would have
done so if there had been room at the facility.

Please pray for God to continue the work He has begun in people’s lives.

We believe God has an overall plan to build His kingdom in the communities in Yunlin
County. As a part of that He has called C&MA international workers to evangelize and
plant churches in the towns where we are living. Recently, other church groups have
initiated church works in Sihhu and have plans to do so in the adjacent towns as
well. Please pray that there will be a spirit of unity rather than a spirit of competition
between the groups. Pray for a testimony of love within the Body, and for enough new
believers to fill all the churches and even start more!

We were thankful that Kathy-Lu was able to see the cardiologist in December. More
tests are needed as a part of her long-term post-surgery follow-up. Please pray that these
can be scheduled and the consultation process be completed very quickly. (There are
concerns that this may not be accomplished before our scheduled return to Taiwan).

Please read our 2011 Year-End Report for more details about our ministry.
