    geospatial transformation of business processes beyond the
    standard GIS to an enterprise system using state of the art
    technologies to support installation management, the war fighter
    and homeland security. Our GeoBase GIS Technician career path
    provides you with an opportunity to expand your GIS skills and
    knowledge and grow within our GIS practice. Each day you will be
    the face of CH2M HILL, working on-site at our client location with
    mapping techniques, data collection tools, and assist with the
    coordination of GeoBase adoption and standard GIS analyses. You
    should be self-motivated professional with 4 years of GIS
    experience including data conversion from CAD to GIS, spatial
    database development and maintenance and knowledge of accepted
    data standards such as Spatial Data Transfer Standards (SDTS) and
    have the drive to grow personally as well as professionally with
    each GeoBase GIS project.

*Basic Qualifications:***

    * AA/AS Geography or 5 years related GIS experience in lieu of a
degree.
    * 4 years of GIS experience.
    * Minimum 2 years experience with ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS).
    * Some experience with GIS data maintenance and management in a
     geodatabase environment.
    * Some work experience with GPS equipment use and field data
collection.

This position is located on-site for a Department of Defense
installation in the Niagara Falls, NY area and *requires an US Gov.
Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a US Gov. Secret Clearance*.
