                                      JANUARY 23, 2012


        A regular meeting of the Sherrill City Commission was held at 7:00 p.m. on January 23,
2012. Present were Mayor W. Vineall, Commissioners M. Hennessy, P. Hubbard, J. Merrill, J.
Gilbert, City Manager B. Comis, City Clerk M. Holmes and City Attorney J. Campanie.

                                            MINUTES

       Motion was made by J. Gilbert and seconded by P. Hubbard that the minutes of the
previous regular meeting be approved as written.

AYES: Hennessy, Hubbard, Merrill, Gilbert, Vineall

                                              BILLS

       Motion was made by J. Merrill and seconded by J. Gilbert that the following bills be
approved for payment and W. Vineall be authorized to sign the warrant.

                              NYCOM LEGISLATIVE MEETING

       R. Comis reported that he and the Mayor would be interested in attending the annual
NYCom Legislative meeting. Motion was made by J. Merrill and seconded by P. Hubbard to
authorize the Mayor and City Manager to attend the NYCOM sponsored meeting and thus they
would not be present at the February 26, 2012 meeting.

                                    ASSESSOR TRAINING

       R. Comis reported that there is a class being offered that he would like to take to continue
his annual certification requirements. Motion was made by J. Merrill and seconded by J. Gilbert
to authorize the assessor, Robert Comis to attend the meeting.

                               SALE OF SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

        R. Comis reported that the city would likes to try to sell the Jacobson mower and three
Ferris mowers that are surplus equipment on Auctions International along with a surplus electric
pole. Motion was made by J. Merrill and seconded by P. Hubbard to declare the Jacobson
Mower, three Ferris mower and electric pole as surplus equipment and authorize the City
Manager to sell the items.

                    REQUST FOR PROPOSAL – ELECTRIC BREAKERS

        R. Comis reported that the city should be in receipt of the electrical breakers they
purchased by mid-March. He is looking to put out a request for proposal (RFP) to install the
items as although no license is required, it is very specialized work and there is a need for some
expertise by the companies interested. Motion was made by J. Gilbert and seconded by J. Merrill
that the city put out a Request for Proposal for the electric breakers installation.
