    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Under the direct supervision of Field Monitor Assistant (senior staff in Mone Koe) and overall
    supervision by Senior Programme Assistant and Head of Sub-Office in Lashio Office, the
    incumbent will perform the following duties:-

    •   Assist in planning, identifying, implementing and monitoring of WFP activities in field including
        data collection in the project area;
    •   Facilitate and organize food distribution process of the projects;
    •   Managing the Food Distribution Points (FDPs) warehouses and assist by providing necessary
        logistics information to sub office Logistics unit for future necessary action;
    •   Monitor and review the overall commodity movements such as food deliveries, shortage,
        transport and distribution at the site and verify if the amounts received have been properly
        recorded, damage or suspected to be damaged;
    •   Liaise with Food Monitoring Committee and supervise the efficient distribution of food items at
        the sites and ensure proper distribution of entitlement and verify appropriate entitlements are
        distributed and provide feedback on the distribution;
    •   Tracking on the commodity pipeline and provide information for Pipeline Management Team
        for effective pipeline management;
    •   Reviewing monthly plan vs actual of distribution, review achievement base on annual plan for
        assigned area and provide feedback regularly;
    •   Proper regular complete and accurate report on program activities for Field office to compile for
        monthly distribution report;
    •   Coordinate and liaise with local authorities for the effective, efficient operation of activities;
    •   Perform other related duties as required.


    Secondary school education, supplemented with experience or additional education in elated field.

    At least one year experience in the field works of humanitarian program and can understand to
    organize community and committed to work with community.

    Fluent in written and speaking of Myanmar and can have local language skills are preferred
    (Shan/Kachin). Ability to communicate in English will be advantaged.

    Desirable knowledge and skills:
    Knowledge and skills of using computer Microsoft words and excel are preferred.

    Critical Success Factors:
    Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are required. He/She can work effectively with
    people of different national and cultural background. Ability to maintain accurate and precise
    records, ability to work in a team environment and achieve common goals.
