            Tap the Logos start icon. The program will take a few minutes as it has to connect
via the internet. This keeps you up-to-date with the software and allows you to store work layouts of study
sessions.

Depending on how you left LOGOS the last time it could open in this view:




To get to the STUDY screen tap the “House”                           icon on top left…




You will get this work area identified as “a layout”.

If a different layout appears you can use:                      “r-Isa” for the layout. (Remember, you have to
have set these up in advance for such to be on your computer.) However, for this lesson it will take the step you
have such a layout as shown above.

From the left: First: the Passage Guide – the Exegetical Guide and Search options:




This Bibles - All 5 translations will be at Isaiah 60:7 so one can easily flip between them.

The 6th one is not linked and open to just quickly type a reference for personal look-up. Of course pausing over
any scripture reference will appear on the screen, (note sample below).




Pointing to this word in the text (Bible area) will cause the “Information” window below to display the meaning
of that word.

To utilize the two: “Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible” and “Easton’s Bible Dictionary” - Right click on the word
“Kedar” in the Scripture area above this window. Tap “Look UP” and the Word will appear in these two
resources.

When you point to the word “Kedar” in the Bible Text Logos will identify the word for you as which part of speech
it is and the Strong’s Hebrew number for the word.
