Hiring Manager: Vice President, Treasury

Under the direction of the Vice President Treasurer, Corporate Risk Manager develops and administers the strategy, procedures, and
necessary information for the company-wide Risk Management programs, incl P&C, worker comp and financial liability lines of coverage.
Implement strategy & solutions to eliminate or minimize exposure, improve/prevent loses and reduce insurance premiums. Develop and
ensure compliance with risk management policies & related audits.

Essential Functions:
                     Independent hands-on roll-up sleeves role; able to formalize/implement risk management programs/function.
                     Formulate, procure and oversee insurance policies and procedures
                     Drive timely renewal process for each policy, including application submission, and review contractual obligations
                      insurance language. Serve as liasion to brokers, carriers, third party vendors and frequently interface with other internal
                      groups (legal, facilities, human resources, acctg. etc)
                     Ensure compliance with risk policies / COI requests / regulatory requirements and interface with applicable regulatory
                      agencbeies. Perform risk and control analysis, including claims analysis and settlement of losses, and identify areas for
                      improvement including safety recommendations. Communicate with third party insurance administrators and insurance
                      carriers on issues pertaining to workers' compensation and general liability claims to include claims management and
                      settlement negotiations.
                     Report exposure, claims and monthly statistics to senior management. Prepare, maintain and update annual risk mgmt
                     Performs various other duties as assigned by senior management


Education: Bachelor's Degree in business/finance or risk/insurance management required. Advanced degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years experience in a related field, preferably in corporate, insurance brokerage or commercial insurance carrier
type setting (i.e claims administration, coverage placement, product pricing). Knowledge of insurance laws, and claims administration

Licenses/Certifications: ARM/CPCU/RIMS

Special Skills (e.g. 2nd language): Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to
multi-task and prioritize, in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines, and possess outstanding problem solving abilities and
negotiating & interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret contract language

Technical Skills/Requirements: proficient in Excel/power point is required, Oracle experience helpful
