Wm. “Bill” Proud Unit May 2012
FROM THE AMERICAN LEGION POST 211
636 North H Street, Lompoc, CA 93436
Greetings from the Commander’s desk!
Can it really be May already? This year is flying by! I hope your year is going much better than mine. It seems that I can't shake this
cold/flu/pneumonia! I am on my 4th round of medication! Oh well.....
I would like to thank Ernie Phelps, Larry Hale, Bill Griffin, Gumby Theis, and the rest of the crew who are transforming our old meeting room into
rentable space. We have a prospective renter who will more than likely be in the space by June 1st. This will give us more income on a monthly basis.
Elections will be held at the General Membership meeting on 9 May at 7pm. I encourage everyone to come on down and vote for your new leadership.
They will need your help in running our Post. Just as a reminder that those who put their name in the hat for a position on the board of officers, do so on
a voluntary basis. They receive no pay for what they do.
Nominations for Officers are: Post Commander - Terry Schrecongost & James Adames, 1st Vice - Jack (John) Page, 2nd Vice - Frank Cox,
3rd Vice – Chuck Hamby, 1 YR. Executive - Ted Jackson - 2 YR. Executive - Bob Power, 3 YR Executive - Ed Strubbe
Other Offices: Judge Advocate - Norman Fuggs, Sergeant at Arms – Richard (Gumby) Theis, Chaplain – Frank Cox, Service Officer – Bill
Griffin & Alma Adames, Historian – Julie Wallce, Adjutant - Buck Barker, Finance Officer – OPEN (maybe James if not Commander)
Our First Annual Spring Fling will go on 5 May from 1100-3pm or longer. There will be all sorts of booths in our parking lot. The Lompoc Fire and
Police Departments will show off a little of their hardware. The Commander will be available to put into the Dunk Tank! I have even heard that the
President of the Ladies Auxiliary will also go into the Dunk Tank! We will have a Relay for Life team offering items and root beer floats for all to
enjoy and purchase. The ALR will have a dart booth. Art Carlos will be making leather goods. United Launch Alliance donated some items for us to
sell. Thanks to them! The SAL will be selling their scrumptious lunch of burgers, hot dogs, and the accessories. There will be 4th and 5th grade
classes selling bake goods from La Canada Elementary School on site as well. We look to have a packed parking lot! Several political figures will be
around on site to shake your hands. Come on out and meet the candidates. The City of Lompoc has cancelled their Cinco de Mayo events and I am
told that we are the only game in town. Most every booth will have things for $1. For example, your $1 will buy you two balls to throw at the Dunk
Tank. $2 will get you 5 balls!
I want to stress that if you want to volunteer for booth or want to help in any way be at the Post by 0700 hours on 5 May because that is when we will
begin to set up. I want to give a huge thanks to Paul and Debbie Bettig for their generous donation. I also want to thank the Los Prietos Boys Camp
for their help in cleaning the parking lot!
This event started as an idea during an ALR ride and has now come to fruition. I hope that is a great success! We hope to make this an annual
fundraising event! Come on out have some fun!
Speaking of the ALR, I have been elected to Department of California American Legion Riders Vice President for the next year. I thank everyone
for their support. I hope that I can fill the shoes of the outgoing VP (who by the way, is now the State President) Pancho Villa.
It is my hope that all the newly elected and appointed officers have a great leadership year! It is made even easier when the board of officers work
together toward the same goal. It has been my pleasure to serve as your Commander for the past two years. I look forward to continuing to be an
active member in our Post.
It is with our heartfelt condolences that we offer our collective thoughts and prayers to Ted Jackson and his family on their recent loss of their
granddaughter. Please remember the Jackson family in daily meditation.
Please take care of your health every day. Drink water, be happy and do something good for someone every day, even if it is a stranger.
As always, I am sure I forgot something or someone! Please accept my apologies.
For God and Country,
If you want to add something to our website calendar, please send an email to our post email address at: email@example.com. Always remember that you can get
more information on our website at: www.alrpost211.org
Reminder: General Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month in the Post Meeting Room at 7:00 PM. Attend our meetings and see for yourself how Post
211 is doing. We can always use your ideas and concerns – this is your Post too! Please try to attend. Thank you everyone for your continued support and especially
those who donate their time or money to help make Post 211 an organization to be “Proud” of. It would be hard without all your help and assistance!
ALR PRESIDENT – George Ornalez
ALR Exhaust Notes:
Our April Bike Nite was a huge success. We had a large group and sold out of hamburgers and we, unfortunately, had to turn away many hungry bikers.
Everything went smoothly due to the hard work of Larry Hale, Chuck Hamby, and Bill Griffin. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Remember to join
us again this month: the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Come and enjoy Louisiana links (hot & mild) with coleslaw.
The ALR State Convention on April 13 – 15, was quite the eventful experience. All six delegates from Post 211 rode their bikes up to the Convention
and were greeted by rain, hail, snow, and even a couple of mini tornados! Luckily, everything was within walking distance once they arrived.
Congrats to our new STATE Vice President – James Adames and to Area 6 Alternate Vice President – Buck Barker. Good luck guys.
The Autism Ride was a huge success. Skeeter, who put the whole thing together – single handily, was overwhelmed by the showing. Next year our
chapter will be involved in this worthy cause.
Our May Ride will be on Saturday, May 12th. This is Chapter 48”s (Oxnard) Legacy Poker Run. We will break wind at 8:00 AM, and depart Oxnard
no later than 3:00 PM, to be able to be back in time for Kirby and Sonja’s reception for those of us who want to attend.
Officer Elections were held on Wednesday, April 25th and I will post who our newly elected officers are next month. Just a reminder: to the members
who have not renewed their dues; please do so quickly- we hope you will continue your membership with the Chapter.
“Ask not what the Riders can do for you but, what you can do for the Riders.”
Till the Spokes Fall Out
S.A.L. COMMANDER - Jeff Wood
In April we welcomed in two new members, Glen Marcum and Buck Barker. Welcome guys and we are glad to have you as a member in SAL.
Everyone make them feel at home! Please note that our officers will remain the same as last year:
Commander - Jeff Wood, 1st vice - Rudy Paramo, 2nd vice - Ralph Vargas, Finance - Art Russ, Historian - Bret Kelley, Chaplain - Pat
Midgley, Sgt. at arms - Ron Reitmier.
Also, I need to point out that we are now into our fifth month of the year and we STILL have a few members who have not paid their 2012 dues as of
yet. Your membership is so very important to us and we would really hate to lose you! Please pay your dues now – and thank you to those who have
already done so!
Come in and support us for a quick and great meal - SAL Saturday lunch is being served from 10:30 AM -2:00 PM every Saturday. The menu
includes: hamburgers w/cheese, bacon and fixings, grilled cheese (w/ham available}, or chicken strips, shoestring fries or onion rings. Thanks to the
guys who are doing a fantastic job and getting the orders made very quickly; you won’t wait long for a tasty lunch. I also want to thank all of you who
have come in and supported us, but especially thank you for your many compliments!
This month we will be holding the SAL Benefit drawing and there may be a few remaining tickets left. Tickets are $10.00 and there are only 200
being sold. Buy 4 and get a free SAL breakfast. All others will get $1.00 off breakfast per ticket. Grand prize is $500.00 and will be drawn on May
26th. Proceeds will help pay for our representatives’ trip to the Redding Convention.
Time is almost up to make your guess in the SAL Guessing Jug fundraiser – see the jug behind the bar. Thanks to George Beeghly and Pacific Tire.
Come in and make plenty of guesses. Who knows, you could win ½ of the total pot on May 26th. But, you can’t win if you don’t guess!
Reminder: SAL meetings are held the 3rd Sunday of the month in the clubroom at 12:00 PM. This month’s meeting will be held on Sunday, May 20th,
at noon. As always, I would like to thank all the SAL Officers for your continued support of our post, and to all the Sunday volunteers who always
work so hard to make our Sunday breakfast the great value it is. As always we extend the invitation to all to join us for Sunday breakfast from 8:00-
11:00AM. If you haven’t come in to try us yet, we HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE! Come out and let us serve you a great meal at a low price; and
once you do, you will be back for more! And as always, we could always use more volunteers and customers for those Sunday morning breakfasts.
Have a Safe Memorial Day. God Bless You All!

for Mama” and he also had her get dressed, to take her out every Wednesday, Friday, and sometimes Saturday to the Post to Karaoke one or all three
nights of the week at the Clubroom! Where “Mama Tried” to sing Karaoke on Fridays with Charlie, Mike, or Chuba (of Charlie’s
Karaoke): from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM (sometimes longer); or Karaoke, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Wednesday and Saturday
nights in the Post Clubroom; cause “Your Mama Don’t Dance” but you could - if you wanted to – especially if you have had a few drinks like a
“Bahama Mama”! So why don’t you join Papa and Mama at the Post Clubroom; because you know “Mother Knows Best” where to have fun and
“Mama Don’t Get Dressed for Nothing”!

May 12th starting at 5:00 PM with dinner being served at 6:00 PM. They ask if you plan to attend that you bring a dish to share with the other
members and they will be providing chicken and tri-tip to compliment the side dishes. So come, bring something to share, have fun, and wish Kirby
& Sonja a long, healthy, and happy marriage.
Get your Veteran made Poppy from one of the Ladies Auxiliary members during the week of May 13 through May 19. They will be collecting
donations at Von’s, Albertson’s, maybe other locations, and at the Post Clubroom. Help support the Ladies Auxiliary and get your poppy from Unit 211
Bike Nites are having great turnouts. Bike Nites are held at the Post Clubroom on the 3 rd Thursday of each month from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM so this
month come on in May 17th and enjoy the food and festivities. This month they will be serving up hot & mild sausages links with a side of coleslaw
and plenty of fun. Remember: Bike Nites are open to all (do not have to be an ALR member) who wish to come! We hope to see everyone there.
SAL Guessing Jar Fundraiser
Have you made your guesses yet? May 26th is approaching quickly; and in case you have been hiding under a rock, I want to remind you that the SAL
members have a big jug in the Post Clubroom filled with what seems like hundreds or even thousands of pull tabs from can tops. You can have a
chance to win 1/2 of the pot; if you guess correctly on how many tabs are actually in it! It will only cost you $1.00 per guess and if you prefer, you
can make 6 guesses for $5.00. The drawing will be on May 26th, so you have only a couple more months to make your guesses. And NO you cannot
weigh the jar or measure its dimensions – that would be cheating! The more everyone guesses the bigger the winnings will be, so Good Luck and
SAL Benefit Drawing
You could benefit from SAL’s Benefit drawing! How would you like to win $500.00 and help the SAL raise funds to send members to the State
Convention in Redding this year? On Saturday, May 26th the SAL will hold a Reverse Drawing at 3:00 PM. Only 200 tickets will be sold for this
drawing! There will be a total of 9 winners for amounts of $50.00 – 5, $75.00 – 2, $100.00 – 1, and the Grand Prize of $500.00. All it would take for
you to be one of the big winners is to make a $10.00 donation; and with that donation you receive $1.00 off their fabulous, already reasonably priced,
Sunday breakfasts; or if you purchase 4 tickets you will get 1 free Sunday Breakfast! So don’t wait too long to get your ticket and miss out on being
the BIG WINNER – get yours now before they are sold out!
Remember your comrades and all of those who fought for our freedoms. Why not attend the Memorial Day Ceremony held at the Lompoc Evergreen
Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 28th, hosted by our own Commander, James Adames. Pot Luck served shortly after the ceremony in the Post
Clubroom – bring a dish to share.
Dart tournaments are back in the Post Clubroom on Friday nights. Make sure you join in and bring your friends to have fun to make sure they stick
around this time!
Blue Barrel Food Drive
The ALR organized Food Pantry Donation barrel could use some more donations on behalf of all the members of Post 211. It is the big blue barrel
and I am sure you have all seen or heard about it in the Post Clubroom. We should be getting much more in donations placed in our barrel. The ALR
has been bringing donations to the Food Pantry and hopes to do bring even more with the future ones. Please, please, please donate any food item you
can (You must have something in your cupboard that you know you will never use or have too many of!) for this great community cause and let Lompoc
know Post 211 cares!
Membership Drive Challenge for 2012
We know that money is tight in this economy, but shouldn’t you be “proud” to help support your Veterans and Community through your continued
membership in the American Legion? Then why are you still procrastinating renewing your membership dues? We are five months into the 2012
membership year and we need your continued membership support; because sadly, we are losing too many members to The Post Everlasting!
Membership cards for the 2012 year are available from Post 211’s Legion, Auxiliary, and SAL 1st Vice Officers. If you or someone you know still
has not yet paid 2011 membership dues; please don’t let your dues become delinquent and have membership benefits lapse. Not sure what year needs
to be paid for, show your most current card to a Unit 1st Vice Commander. They are happy to help determine if your dues are current or need to be
brought up to date. President Marion’s and Commander James’ competition, to see who can get the best membership response, was looking bad for
Marion; but there is still time and it is anyone’s guess to see who will be shaking those tail feathers! The loser has to do the Chicken Dance in the Post
Clubroom. (Jo Jo said she would make a chicken suit.) So, please make renewing your Legion Membership one of your priorities and renew NOW
and “be proud”! We challenge all 211 members to try and sign up at least one new member! All you have to do is ask someone if they are a member
of any American Legion; and if not, find out if they would be interested in becoming one. If you are not sure of the membership qualifications for each
unit, contact one of the 1st Vice Officers. They are happy to give you that information. Let’s try hard to preserve our Post’s membership.
Are you tired of the same-o same-o things happening at the Post and me begging for ideas? Then it is time to do some brain storming! We are
desperately trying to find alternative entertainment on our Saturday nights; so you and all of our members can look forward to new things at the Post.
We are begging for your ideas or if you are interested in being our entertainment; please let us know. Maybe you might know of a singer, group,
instrumentalist, or other entertainer who is interested in performing to get some local recognition – let them know and have them contact the Post
Clubroom or E-board member. In the Past we have had bands (Roadhouse 101, Tinnitus, & the Remnants), soloists (Dan Malley& Heather Power),
DJ’s, Open Mike Nights, Roasts, etc. Any idea is greatly welcomed. Watch for flyers or announcements around the Post Clubroom (scheduled
entertainment may be on short notice) as to what type of entertainment will be offered; and please come out and support the weekly choice. By all
means, feel free to give feedback to let us know what you enjoy most.
Watch for More information on:
Post 211’s Installation dinner - Post 211 Hats or Shirts – let us know if you would be interested in one of these - Fundraisers to support Heather
Power (Bob Power’s daughter) in her quest to study abroad – Chuck’s 2nd Luau?, and ALR handgun Raffle - $10.00/ticket or 6 for $50.00
Please, if you have any ideas for fundraising or know of anyone who can write a grant proposal, please pass on that information to any board
member! (Some ideas could be a Mystery Who Done it Dinner, Casino Night, Mardi Gras Dinner and Dance, Monthly 50/50 drawing, money raffle drawings, card or
game nights – just for fun, or bake sales) Do any of those interest anyone of you or do you have a better idea? Help please and let a board member know!
Always remember: Your MOTHER on Mother’s Day, May 13th and Our VETERANS on Memorial Day, May 28th
To attend your Post’s & Unit meetings!
Saturday SAL lunch! You won’t be disappointed.
Sunday Breakfasts by SAL! YUM! They are serving breakfast on MOTHER’S DAY – come TREAT MOM to the best omelet in Lompoc!
Sing Karaoke Wednesday, Friday, and/or Saturday nights (Don’t forget to tip them)!
Friday evening dinners! Helpers and participation needed, or some dinners might be cancelled!
Support the American Legion Welcome Them Home!
To tip the smiling bartenders and bar managers!
Support Post functions (Have great times and do something good for your Post 211 organizations)!
Volunteers are needed for functions and committees!
To get involved!!!!!!!!!
Do you know any active Military Troops who might like to join Post 211? If you do, please let them know that the Legion will pay their dues as long
as they are on active duty! The next time you see a homeless Vet, why not buy them lunch? (The Post is willing to reimburse you with a receipt) and also
tell them if they need a place to receive mail, they can use the Post address: 630 North H Street, Lompoc, CA 93436 and we can receive their
mail, and hold it until they can pick it up, or even use our Veteran’s Resource Computer Center to find employment – they will need to get the key
from the bartender on duty. (Please use it for official use and not searching U-Tube videos or joke sites and such!)
Also a reminder to all members: When you happen to go to the Post Clubroom, look around. There are many flyers on the bulletin board, chalk
board, walls, or windows that have event information you may be interested in. Most events can’t make the newsletter because we do not receive the
information with much notice! More importantly, there are a couple of flyers at the Post about returning veterans from Iraq and/or Afghanistan who
can go to a retreat for free (transportation, lodging, etc.) to recoup and get back into society after the traumas they have been through. It entails hiking,
camping, horseback riding, fishing and hunting, etc. There are several places in the U.S. for them to go. There is also a notice from the EDD
(employment dept. of the state) to hire veterans to help serve veterans, etc.
FYI: All of your Post 211 Officers want to make sure that every member can enjoy belonging to our organization. Please get involved in whatever way
you can. We all are very busy or hit hard by the economy; but only a few seem to be dedicated to the aims and purposes of The American Legion by
our devotion to mutual helpfulness. ******If you or any other member should ever have a problem that needs resolution; please document, in
writing, what the problem is and present it to your E-board. Action can not be taken on any issue, on word of mouth only. So please, document your
issues to ensure a solution to your problem. Thank you.
MESSAGES FROM THE AUXILIARY
AUXILIARY PRESIDENT – Marion Rocha
Ladies, our next meeting will be on Monday, May 7th, in the Post Clubroom at 7:00 PM. We will be having our New Member Initiation and Voting
for our new officers in this meeting. As always, all ladies are invited to attend this or any of our other meetings and participate in our activities. I ask, if
you could, please bring a finger food to share with our new members. Won’t you please join in, give your voice and help to welcome our newest
members? I hope to see everyone at the meeting, and please bring your Community Service sheets (if you have one) and turn them in too. If you have
any concerns or questions I can be contacted at 736-6429 or 705-2005.
NATIONAL SECURITY – Help please - Our Auxiliary collects Manufacturer’s coupons (no local coupons - Von’s, Long’s, etc.) to help support
our Troops. If you would like to contribute, you can bring your clipped or non-clipped coupons to our meeting or drop them off at Post 211’s
Clubroom. We reached 2nd place last year and would really like to finally get 1st place this year! This is really a great program for our Troops and
many of you receive a Sunday newspaper with coupon inserts – why not give them to us instead of throwing them away!
Please remember to come attend the Spring Fling on May 5th, at the Post 11 AM – 3PM.
Remember Mothers’ and Memorial Day this month.
For God and County - Marion
Happy Birthday to Lucy Rocha (my grandma).
1st VICE PRESIDENT – Maryellen Arias
Ladies, please get your 2012 dues paid now. The economy is rough right now, but won’t you please stay active in your Auxiliary and not let your
membership benefits lapse? You are not allowed to utilize any Post privileges, without a current 2012 membership card! So, don’t wait any longer to
pay your dues. Marion and Commander James have a bet to see who can do the best with Membership for the year. The loser will have to do the
Chicken Dance in the Post Clubroom and we would really love to see Commander James have to flap his wings instead of his jaw! Remember your
dues make it possible for the Auxiliary to continue to donate to its many charity requests. Please think about continuing your membership in our
Auxiliary? Just drop your payment off at the Post Clubroom or you can mail your dues to: American Legion Auxiliary PO Box 522 Lompoc, CA
93438. Don’t forget to ask me about all the member discounts & services that you are able to get for being an Auxiliary member. Please feel free to
contact me for the information at 741-7590.
If you have moved, please let us know. You can email (Tracerkong@comcast.net), call (Tracy (805) 315-6673), or mail in your address change to:
American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 211, P.O. Box 522, Lompoc, CA 93438, or leave it in our folder at the Post Bar.
2nd Vice-President – Joni Kellermann
Memorial Day is approaching fast. During the week of May 13th through May 19th, the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 211
will be out in Lompoc at various locations (Vons, Albertson’s, etc.) taking Poppy donations for the Veteran’s. This is
the annual fundraiser for our Units’ Veterans programs and their families. We are Proud to participate in this
wonderful program; first by purchasing Veteran made poppies and then being able to use the donations we collect to
aid various Veteran requests. If you happen to see one of our members during this week, we hope you can donate any
amount you can afford and help us help them. Or if you just would like to make a donation, you can mail your
donation to the American Legion Auxiliary, P. O. Box 522, Lompoc, CA. 93438.
Please donate if you can, this is only once a year and the Veterans really appreciate it; and you will be able to show your support for our Veterans as
you wear your Veteran Made Poppy. Thank you for your support.
Also, if you have never attended a Memorial Day Graveside Ceremony, why not attend this year’s Ceremony held at The Lompoc Evergreen
Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 28th at 11:00 AM. Our Poppy Girl (Erin Kellermann) will present Unit 211’s Auxiliary Poppy Wreath at the
Memorial Day Graveside Ceremony along with several other organizations. We hope you can attend and show your gratitude for our fallen heroes.
SECRETARY (Temp) – Linda Phelps
The Ladies Auxiliary serves two Friday night dinners at Post 211’s Clubroom. The dinners are on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. This month,
Friday, May 11th, they are offering their delicious Chicken Dinner with all the fixings; on Friday, May 25th, they are serving up a Mexican favorite -
Chile Verde dinner, and as usual their dinners include one of their fabulous desserts. (If anyone is interested in helping us in the kitchen in any way, we
would appreciate it - Jo Jo could really use some help!) We hope all Post 211 members will come out and help support us and enjoy a great meal.
Remember this is one way we raise funds to utilize toward our community and welfare projects. Let us know what dinner you would like served!

AMERICANISM CHAIR - Tracy Hudson
May is a month when we remember and recognize those who helped to shape our Country or our lives. Please remember to honor all
Veterans on Memorial Day and don’t forget to honor your Mother (like my beautiful mother – Mary Denny!) on May 13th this Mother’s Day! Don’t’
forget to display your American Flag (if you aren’t already) on Memorial Day –May 28 , to show your support of This Great Country of ours. If
you should know of any organization that could use an American flag, please have them contact me at (805) 315-6673. We can help to provide them
with a new flag! Also, please remember, if you have an old, worn, or damaged flag that is no longer presentable, you can bring your old flags to the
Post Clubroom and the men will make sure that it gets retired properly.
Unit Officer Elections are being held on May 7th. So now is the time for you to get involved it is still not too late to think about becoming an officer. If
you are interested please attend this 7:00 PM meeting at the Post Clubroom. We really would love to have you attend this meeting to welcome in
several new members, as they are initiated and cast your vote for our new Officers! (This is the one meeting all of our members should attend – even if
this would be the first one you have attended in years! Please support your Auxiliary Unit!
PLEASE visit the ALR website often for changes; and why not, sign the Guest Book (no one has in months – STILL!), and let us know what you
think of the site when you visit? We always are open to your ideas or concerns you may have on the sites pages – ie. Needs more updating (or your
glowing praise – lol). As always Thank you to Mike Owen, Thor, and James Adames who had put a lot of time and effort into the creation of the
website: www.alrpost211.org So, remind other members to check it out - if you know they still have not. We are just not getting the amount of
views to the site as we should! I know we have approximately 500 total members at Post 211, but only receive approximately 120 members viewing the
site each month. So if you are unable to use the site or pick one up in the Post Clubroom regularly, please let me know and I can have a copy of the
Newsletter mailed to you – keeping abreast of Post 211’s news should be important to all of you!

Thank you, to ME (if you don’t know who I am - shame shame on you) for continuing on with our newsletter – even though I still have to nag people for
information each month! Don’t thank me however; I just need to know if anyone is really reading the newsletter– let me know. Hmm no one made a
comment again about this blurb last month – “Am I wasting my time?”
Thank you, to all of our members who continuously and generously give their time and donations to our Post. I wish I knew all of their names, so I
could let you all know of their generosity & kindness. Lastly, a great big – THANK YOU, to Bert Hudson and GRAPHIC SYSTEMS (403 North “G”
Street, Lompoc), for continually donating his time and printing, to help us get our newsletter to you and much more. Remember I am still looking for
help from someone to take over the newsletter. I guess my only way out of doing the newsletter is by going to Post Everlasting; and that ain’t going to
happen. For now you have to put up with me!
Information or comments for the newsletter should be turned in no later than the 20th day of the month preceding its
publication. Please don’t make me nag you for it!!! You may post your information in the “yellow envelope” at the bar or emailed to me
(Tracy Hudson) at Tracerkong@comcast.net. To all members: I hope you would provide me with your information for the section in
the newsletter with celebrations (births, weddings, birthday wishes, anniversaries) illnesses, and deaths, so if you have or know of
any announcements, please won’t you let me know?
