ORGANISED EVENTS AND DAY TRIPS Staff Staff must complete risk assessments for any event or day trip they are organising. These are then
submitted to the General Secretary at least one week prior to the event/activity.
FOOD HYGIENE Staff Staff preparing food for events must carry out a risk assessment, this should be given to the General
Secretary at least one week prior to the event. No raw meat should be prepared or served. The staff
member must follow food hygiene guidelines which are available from the Food Standards Agency -
