For the supply of one Dyson Hydraloader HR5000SLA Slideback,c/w
independent second vehicle lift, based on an Renault Midlum 220DXi chassis
crew cab, and built in accordance with the following specification;
Model: Dyson Hydraloader HR5000S LA Super Low Approach
Dyson Hydraloader Recovery System with a Body design load of 5000kgs,
sliding and tilting Recovery Body, motor driven platform and a loading angle of
less than 5 degrees to include automatic tilt cylinder, single lever control plus
tilt override control and 5000 kgs platform design, plastic rear mudguards and
mudflaps, installed to the chassis. Body capacity will depend on kerb weight,
weight distribution and wheelbase of chassis.
Body will be of all steel construction with a welded steel treadplate floor. The
floor will be provided with conveniently spaced lash down rings.
Gearbox will be fitted with a suitable PTO to which a hydraulic pump will be
fitted. Operation will be via a cab mounted PTO air switch and handbrake
interlock. A suitable capacity hydraulic tank and filter arrangement will be
attached to body member. The slidebed will be operated by radio remote
A towing bracket will be provided with storage to chassis, and also a cone
carrier with 6 road cones.
A steel storage locker will be mounted to chassis frame offside c/w LED
Aluminium protection angle to body side raves, marker lights and conspicuity
marking to legal requirements.
Second Vehicle Lift
Independent second vehicle lift 2000 kgs capacity. Lift includes flip over head
for safe stowage when not in use, manual safety lock and wheel grid.
Superwinch Model H8, 8000lb Hydraulic Winch (3620kg capacity) with Rope
and Roller Fairleads, rated line pull of 39.4 kn.

Drum can be disengaged ,to enable the rope to be pulled out easily. Winch is
equipped with an adjustable free spooling damper to alleviate possible wire
over-run on the drum. Disc brake is housed in the planetary gearbox. The
winch is operable in both directions via a directional control valve mounted on
vehicle control box. Drum capacity 30m of 10mm rope. The winch can be slid
manually. The unit will be radio remote controlled with storage in cab. A sliding
crash bar with rubber buffer and a 50mm ball to crash bar will be provided.

Controls are fitted in a weather proof enclosure with easy control lever
operation. An ‘Emergency Stop’ button will also be provided.

Statutory Outline Marker Lamps to suit vehicle length
