(September 17, 2012, New York) Xiaohong He, a professor and the founder of International Business
Department at the School of Business, Quinnipiac University for more than 20 years, will be speaking at
Golden Networking's China Leaders Forum 2012, " Political and Economic Challenges for Xi Jinping, China's
President-in-waiting", New York, October 2nd (http://www.ChinaLeadersForum.com). This forum will examine
the challenges facing American companies that want to grow and expand their business in China, the
opportunities to find Chinese investment partners that can provide a much-needed capital injection while
opening the Chinese market, as well as important considerations to look at so that the high-powered Chinese
rocket doesn’t drastically slow down.


Professor He received her Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Dallas in International Management Studies.
She also held M.S. in Finance and M.A. in International Business. Her undergraduate degree is in Mechanical
Engineering from China. Prior coming to the US, she worked as a research engineer for China National
Academy of Agricultural Mechanization of Sciences for 8 years. In the US, before her teaching career she
worked for 8 years as a business consultant and business executive in transportation industry. Prof. He has
published over 80 publications in refereed academic journals, books, and conference proceedings in both
English and Chinese. Her research areas are multinational corporations, international monetary system, global
entrepreneurship, globalization, etc.
Professor He teaches International Business subjects and has received the Excellence in Teaching Award at
Quinnipiac University. Her research also received several international awards for excellence as well. Recently
she travelled to China, India, and Turkey and devotes her time on entrepreneurship development in emerging
markets. She also takes students to Nicaragua on microfinance mission.
