							                         WARWICKSHIRE PROBATION TRUST

                          PROBATION SERVICE OFFICERS

                                Salary & Benefits

Salary:                          Pay Band 3 Points 51 - 74
                                 £21,607 - £27,102 per annum

                                 New entrants will be appointed at the starting point
                                 of the salary band.

Bail Information Rota:           The role requires involvement in a Saturday bail
                                 information rota for which an enhancement is paid.
                                 Hours are claimed by time sheet and paid one
                                 month in arrears.

Contract:                        Permanent

Mileage Allowance:               Casual car user allowance based on the cc of your
                                 vehicle.

Pension:                         Automatic enrolement in the Local Government
                                 Pension Scheme (LGPS) which is administered by
                                 Warwickshire County Council. Contributions are
                                 based on gross salary. Human Resources will
                                 send the relevant form to opt-out of the Scheme on
                                 appointment.


Hours of Work:                   Full time, 37 hours per week


Office hours:                    9.00 – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday
                                 9.00-5.00pm Friday
                                 One hour for lunch
                                 Late night reporting as appropriate for which flexi-
                                 time is claimed


Location:                        Initial location will be confirmed as any of the Trust
                                 office locations within Warwickshire. Main office
                                 locations are currently Leamington Spa, Nuneaton
                                 and Rugby. Warwickshire Probation Trust reserve
                                 the right to require you to work at any of our main
                                 office locations throughout the County, which we
                                   may reasonably require you to do giving 4 weeks
                                   prior notice.

Flexi-time system                  We operate a flexi-time system for all employees.


Holidays:                          25 days annual leave, which increases with length
                                   of continuous service as in the following table.
                                   There are also 8 public bank holidays and 2
                                   Service days which are on fixed dates determined
                                   by the Probation Trust.
