Habitat for Humanity is one of the largest efforts to provide affordable, high
quality housing to those in need. As such, the organization requires an equally
large pool of resources. Fortunately, there are many ways to help.

1. Direct support—Donations of cash, stocks, and bonds are useful for any
nonprofit organization. Monthly, employer-matched, and one-time donations all
help.

2. Investment—By investing in Habitat for Humanity, individuals and businesses
can create a mutually beneficial relationship with their community.

3. Purchase of supporting goods—Habitat for Humanity offers surplus and
reusable building materials for sale through its local Habitat ReStores, as well as
branded items, such as t-shirts and balloons, through its online store, all of which
fund further efforts to reduce homelessness.

4. Corporate partnership—Corporations can provide cash, goods, and services in
support of Habitat for Humanity, such as Whirlpool Corporation’s commitment to
provide a refrigerator to each Habitat home.
