Legal Studies Honours Programmes:
Candidates for Joint Honours in Legal Studies and another discipline (e.g. International Relations) must write a dissertation on an
approved topic which may be either in Legal Studies (LX 4025) or in the other discipline, but if in the other discipline, the credit points
accruing there from count towards the 120 Credit points required by the other discipline.

        i.          *It may not be possible to combine every one of these options with the compulsory courses in the
                    candidate’s other subject because of timetabling difficulties.
          ii        ** Students who wish to do Criminal Law or Criminal Justice at Honours Level should do LS 1020.
         iii        ***It is not possible to take both Jurisprudence and Business Law 2 in the same year because of a
                    timetabling clash.
        iv.         The Law School offers each year a wide range of LX courses, usually around 30 in number. The
                    Honours Course Prospectus and application form are usually made available in late April. Students
                    must collect the Prospectus and application form from the Law School.
