                    PROGRAM
   WELCOME! Below you will find information regarding the weekly
            requirements for an internship at Wink Magazine.
               Your schedule will look something like this:
(Part Time Interns): Must work a minimum of 3 days per week (15 hours)
                          and all special events.
(Full Time Interns): Must work a minimum of 5 days per week (25 hours)
                          and all special events.

(We can be flexible with your start and stop time each day by allowing you
  to work earlier or later hours if you have extenuating circumstances.)

  o Monday: 10am-5pm Sales/Account Management (Phone/Online)

  o Tuesday: 10am-5pm Field Work: Meeting with Sales/Account
    Holders (In Person)

  o Wednesday: (Flex. Schedule) Free Play! Brainstorming, Ideas,
    Creative Day, Catch up on Work Day, Work on Final Projects!

  o Thursday: 10am-5pm Field Work: Interviews on location with
    businesses or personalities that articles relevant to the magazine can
    be created from.

  o Friday: 10am-1pm Field Work: Putting up Wink Flyers and putting
    out business cards
  o Photographing Columbia citizens for “Street Style” downtown.
  o Friday: 3pm-5pm Writing, Blogging, Updating Social Media
    Accounts, making press releases, doing PR for upcoming WINK
    events, etc.
   o Saturdays: (Only if Wink Events are going on, or if extra work is
     needed to meet a deadline)


Task Descriptions:
   o Phone/Cold Calling: Sales/Account Management: Make Contact with
      Atleast 30 businesses per day and secure an email address and
      manager’s name to follow up with ad/media advertising packet. Must
      sell atleast 2 ads per week. New Accounts and Existing Accounts.

   o Sales/Account Management: Bring Promising businesses their
     advertising/media packets in person. Must drop off packets to fashion
     based businesses.


Before Completion of Internship (Pick one):

   o Must Create 3 successful contests, market them, and secure the prizes
     from local businesses.
   o Must create theme and title of a WINK party at a lounge/nightclub/or
     trendy bar. Must promote event in the community.
   o Must write at least five 450 word minimum articles on relevant topics
     and people.



Other Duties May Include:
   o Attending fashion based events in Columbia and surrounding cities.
   o Styling or Pulling Merchandise for photo shoots.
   o Running Errands, Getting Coffee/Lunch.
   o Fact Checking Articles.
   o Setup/break down or clean up for Wink/CFA/FFS/CSW Events
   o Video Interviews for Wink TV
   o Drafting documents
   o Graphic Design: making flyers, logos, designing layouts, etc.
   o Updating the Wink Magazine calendar
   o Returning voicemails/Making calls
   o Making receiving/calls/texts/emails after hours to meet deadlines
   o Working on Columbia Style Week or with FFS Model and Talent
     Agency or the Columbia Fashion Alliance
   o Modeling
   o Sewing/Light Alterations on Shoots
   o And any other tasks that are pertinent to the success of WINK
     MAGAZINE.


Perks:
   o Free Admission to local fashion/entertainment events in and around
       Columbia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia
   o Signed Reference letter, project packet, press releases for events you
       assisted with, a record of accomplishments and sales, etc. Positive
       recommendation for all inquiries as to your internship if you leave on
       a positive note and have completed all of the tasks required.
   o Company paid workshops and seminars through the Columbia
       Fashion Alliance
   o Gifts for making goals.
   o Receive 20% Comission on all new accounts you sell an ad to.
   o Receive $5 on each recurring ad sold on existing accounts you
       brought to WINK for the duration of your internship.

Additional Information: Both parties agree that no hourly wages are to be
paid as this is an unpaid internship. By signing below, I agree that I have
received this form, had the opportunity to ask questions, and fully
understand the terms of my internship. I understand that not completing the
agreed upon length of time for my internship, or not completing required
tasks, will result in my not receiving a good reference or a reference packet
upon separating from WINK intern department. I understand that I am not
under contract with WINK magazine, and either party may separate from the
other for any reason at all with or without notice. I UNDERSTAND THAT
IF I TERMINATE MY INTERNSHIP EARLY OR AM RELEASED
FROM MY INTERNSHIP EARLY, I WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT
FOR THE TIME SPENT HERE AND MAY OR MAY NOT RECEIVE
A REFERENCE PER THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING
YOUR SEPARATION.
