The EMPLOYER shall provide the EMPLOYEE with roundtrip economy
ticket from the Philippines to the site of employment. The return
portion of the ticket shall be used by the EMPLOYEE upon completion of
his contract.
12.3. REPATRIATION
In case the EMPLOYEE dies during the duration of this contract, his
remains and personal property shall be repatriated to the Philippines at
the expense of the EMPLOYER. In case the repatriation of the remains is
not possible, the same maybe disposed of upon prior approval of the
EMPLOYEE’s next of kin and/or by the Philippine embassy/Consulate
nearest the job site.
12.4. FOOD & ACCOMODATION (for live-in employee)
The EMPLOYER shall provide free food and accommodation for its live-
in employees.
13. TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT:
Neither party may unilaterally terminate this EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT except
for just legal and valid causes:
13.1. ON THE PART OF THE EMPLOYER:
The EMPLOYER may terminate the employment in case the EMPLOYEE
does not comply with the provisions of this EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT.
Should this happen, the EMPLOYEE shall shoulder the cost of the
repatriation to the Philippines.
13.2. ON THE PART OF THE EMPLOYEE:
The EMPLOYEE may terminate the employment in case the EMPLOYER
violates the terms and conditions of this EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
including but not limited to inhuman and non-bearable treatment
accorded to the EMPLOYEE by the EMPLOYER. Should this happen, the
EMPLOYER shall shoulder the cost of repatriation to the Philippines.
14. SETTLEMENTT OF DISPUTES
In case of any disputes arising from the EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT, the party hereby
agrees to exert their best efforts to resolve their differences in an amicable manner. If
no settlement is reached, either party may submit their grievance to the Philippine
embassy/Consulate nearest the jobsite.
15. NON-ALTERATION OF CONTRACT
This contract contains the entire understanding of the parties herein. Its terms and
conditions may not be altered or modified except for the subsequent written agreement
signed by the parties herein and subsequently approved by the Philippine
Embassy/Consulate nearest the jobsite. Oral changes shall have no effect whatsoever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have signified that they have read and understood all the
provisions of the EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT and have freely manifested their full acceptance of
the terms and conditions stated herein by affixing their signatures on the document this ____
