** The purpose of this spreadsheet is only to be a
tool for you to see how EU & OU differ. It is based
on the Revenue Protection plan for 2011. **

To use my 2011 Wheat Comparison: Enterprise vs Optional Units

You will need to replace only the blue cells with your own information.

They are:

   1. APH (your APH for that unit/field)

   2. % Level (you need to enter this into the first (& only blue) cell)

   3. Harvested (or appraised) Bushels for that unit/field

   4. Acres for that unit/field

________________________________________________________________

 Now you are ready to see your results.

 What the whole spreadsheet boils down to is Row 14 vs Row 18.

Row 14 is "OU GT Pd Indemnity", which means Optional Units, Grand Total, Paid
Indemnity or more simply, your claim check before they hold out for the
premium.

Row 18 is "EU GT Pd Indemnity", which means Enterprise Units, Grand Total, Paid
Indemnity or your claim check before they hold out for the premium.

**What's important to note**

After you have those 2 numbers (Row 14 & Row 18), then you need to
consider what your premium was for 2011. If you had Optional Units (each unit
stands alone), your Enterprise Unit premium can be estimated by multiplying by
0.33. Make note of these amounts.

Always consider what your premium would be for each plan before you decide
which plan was the winner for that set of yields (Harvested Bushels Row).

Now, consider how the two plans stack up. There are times when you get paid
on OU and do not get paid on EU. Plug in different Harvested Bushels & see
what happens to the claim amounts - and always subtract your premium from
your claim check amount.

If you want me to plug in your info, just call or email. I will be happy to.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback on how helpful/unhelpful a tool this was
to you.
