               Slideshow
   Left-clicking your mouse or pressing the
    “right” directional arrow will advance a
    slide
   The “Left” directional arrow will move
    to the previous slide
   Right-clicking during the presentation
    will open a menu. Moving the cursor to
    “Go to Slide” will allow access to a
    particular slide of interest

                    Purpose
   Project EAGLE is a four week summer program
    designed to:
      Prepare participants to pass the PERT
       (Postsecondary Education Readiness Test)
      Give participants study skills, technology tools,
       and leadership skills to be successful in college
      Assist participants in selection the appropriate
       major or career and obtaining financial aid and
       scholarships to help fund their college education
      Orient participants to the campus and services
       that are available
                 Benefits
   Passing the PERT (Reading, Writing, Math) and
    eliminating the need for college preparatory
    coursework
   Saving college prep tuition and fees
   Study skills and technology tools for success in
    college
   Career and major selection assistance
   Orientation to the campus, services and college
    process
   Assistance in applying for financial aid and
    scholarship searched
                Eligibility
   Must be one of the following:
       A first-generation college student
       Student from a low-income family
       Student with a physical or learning disability
   Must be seeking an Associates
    degree
   Must have PERT scores in the
    following ranges:
       Reading: 84-103
       Writing: 90-98
       Math: 50-112
         Participation Requirements


   Must have a standard high school diploma or GED
   Must participate in all of the scheduled activities
    for weeks 1 and 4
   Must attend all classroom and lab instruction
    sessions in the academic area where the student
    is deficient (supplemental instruction and
    tutoring are mandatory
   Must apply for, and participate in, the Student
    Support Services program
               Cost
   There will be no tuition cost for
    instruction, since this is not a
    credit course and will not appear on
    the students’ transcript
   PERT retakes are free during the
    course of the program
