National Association of Counties

full-time internship placements in county governments for the Summer of 2012.
One of the most effective ways for counties to promote green and sustainability in their
communities is to buy sustainable products for their own operations. Today, it is possible

them sometimes challenging to find.

interns to Counties to work on buying sustainably.

efforts. More specifically, the candidate will work with county purchasing staff on:

2. Coordinate and organize county sustainability teams

The internship is 40 hours per week and pays $__/week. The work schedule is flexible
