                    THE PLANNING AND FOOTPATHS COMMITTEE
                          HELD ON MONDAY 27TH JULY 2009

36. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR:
    In the absence of the Committee Chair and Vice-Chair, it was proposed by Cllr Andrews-
    Reading and seconded by Cllr Weedon that Cllr Phillips chair the meeting.

   The Minutes of the Planning and Footpaths Committee meeting held on 6th July 2009 be
   confirmed as a true record and signed by the Chairman.


38. MATTERS ARISING:

   (i) Premises Licence – Amersham Hill Cricket Club, Peter Dwight Drive, Amersham
       Members were informed that Chiltern District Council Licensing Committee has granted a
       new Premises Licence for Amersham Cricket Club, subject to mandatory conditions.

     There were no declarations of interest.

40. AMERSHAM COLLEGE CLAIMED FOOTPATHS:
    Members were informed of the notification from the Chiltern Rights Of Way Officer that, owing
    to a mapping inaccuracy, a further report is being submitted to amend the Order Plan for the
    College grounds footpath.


41. BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL MATTERS:

   There were no matters for discussion.

42. CHILTERN DISTRICT COUNCIL MATTERS:

     There were no matters for discussion.


43. MATTERS FOR REPORT:

   (i) Planning Application No. CH/2009/0607/FA – 46 Sycamore Road, Amersham
       Members were informed that the above application will be considered by the CDC Planning
       Committee on 06.08.09.

   (ii) Planning Application No. CH/2009/0038/FA – Woodrow Farm Buildings, Shardeloes Farm
        Members were informed that an appeal has been lodged by the applicant on the above
        planning application.

   (iii) ‘Habits Survey’
         In his capacity as Council Liaison with G E Healthcare, Cllr Weedon reported that CEFAS
         (The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science) will shortly be conducting
         a ‘habits survey’ with members of the public in the area to monitor diet and activities. It was
         agreed that an information sheet on this matter will be circulated to all Members.
