4. FIRST AID MEASURES - POSSIBLE HAZARD
a. Skin Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. If irritation is
apparent, repeat washing and if necessary seek medical attention. Failure to react will
result in drying and possible redness of the skin. For repeated and prolonged contact,
wear rubber gloves.
b. Eyes Irrigate the eye with an eyewash solution for at least 10 minutes and receive medical
attention if severe irritation is apparent. Failure to react may result in a severe irritant
c. Ingestion Wash out mouth with water and receive immediate medical attention. Failure to react
may result in irritant redness and burns of tract, mouth, gut. Do not induce vomiting.
d. Inhalation Remove from exposure, keep warm and at rest. Obtain medical attention if ill effects
e. Medical Treat for irritant effects especially if persistent and regular skin contact with the product
Advice concentrate has prevailed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
X Prevent from entering to storm water drainage system, surface and groundwater. If such
accidental release occurs, contact Water Authority immediately and attempt to contain spill with
absorbent and refer to Section 13 Disposal Considerations.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
X Handle in accordance with CHIP/COSHH requirements refer Sections 3/8.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
As disclosed in Section 3 COSHH 1988, if product contains an EH40 listed component, preventative
methods MUST be employed to prevent atmospheric levels exceeding the listed Occupational Exposure
Standard (O.E.S.) Maximum Exposure Limit (M.E.L.). Alternatively, suitable protective clothing must be
worn if these levels are exceeded as recommended below.

splashing solution into eyes.
X Hand Protection Type- If in persistent and regular contact, butyl rubber gloves
give best resistance to this substance.
