We are committed to ensuring we have a well rounded group of Safety Advisors to guarantee our employees have the safety support required and that we continue to support all aspects of the Safety Management System (SMS). We are looking for Safety Advisors in our Edmonton Terminal. This is our largest terminal in Western Canada with over 150 drivers and 650 pieces of equipment (tractors and trailers). Duties include, but are not limited to, driver training and evaluations; regular customer site inspections; incident prevention; and emergency response. Qualifications: Three years’ related safety experience in the transportation industry, experience with bulk commodities is required Good working knowledge of the transportation industry, including knowledge of a variety of commodities including dangerous goods Class 1 driver’s license with air endorsement is required H2S and First Aid certifications are required OH&S Certificate would be considered an asset Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; maintain confidentiality Proficient in a Windows system environment Knowledge of the TMW System is an asset Ability to travel to various sites as required Please apply online at www.westcanbulk.ca under the Join Our Team link by April 15, 2012.
