    Well-rounded legal education

The LLM programme is a precious
    opportunity that enables students,

                                                  in Law
after deep and focused research as
    well as substantial legal knowledge
    imparted to them by highly
qualified lecturers, to play an active
    and considerable role in tackling
challenges that face the everyday life
    in a given Society. 2011–2012
After a certain period in quest of an
    economic and business-oriented LLM
programme, I came to discover it
at the University of Groningen. The
information I got from the university
website as well as the one provided
by the International Office staff was
complete enough to trigger my decision
    to start application proceedings.

Doing a Master’s degree in Groningen
is a unique chance for any prospective
student aspiring to have a well-
    rounded legal education. There are
    distinguished lecturers from both
    academic and professional milieus
whose main devotion, in addition to
their lectures, is to conduct permanent
research in different fields of law.
Furthermore, the staff members of the
International Office of the Faculty of
Law are extremely kind and helpful
    towards students. Also, there are
    enough educational facilities and
    guidance from different academic staff
    members availble to the students.

Thus, a one-year stay at the University
of Groningen has been an exceptional
experience that will shape my whole
    future career life.
