During this investigation you will determine:
1. The value of the coefficient of sliding friction
2. The value of the coefficient of static friction
3. Compare the results of 1. and 2.

Procedure
Part 1
1. Hook the spring scale to the block.
2. Pull on the spring scale until the block is moving at a constant velocity.
3. Record the applied force measured by the spring scale.
4. Measure the weight of the block using spring scale and record.
Part 2
1. Hook the spring scale to the block.
2. Pull on the spring scale until the block just begins to move.
3. Record the applied force measured by the spring scale.
