The Principals of all JKC 2008 registered colleges,
Sub: - JNT University Hyderabad – Academic & Planning – Transfer Policy – JKC training for company selected
                  candidates – Reg.
         Ref: IEG/1697-1/2008, dated: 16.12.2008
In continuation of this letter, under reference cited, regarding JKC TRAINING/PROJECTS to students selected for INFOSYS
and SATYAM during the academic year 2008-09, a policy is evolved. As part of the understanding with the companies,
selected students need to undergo training/projects during their last semester of the B. Tech course in the JKC Training Centers.
The following directions are to be followed by the colleges.

● IEG will coordinate JKC training activities and projects in the JKC Training Centers for
the company selected students for about four months.

● No transfers are affected for selected students among the institutions; however if JKC Training Centre is not available
at a college, the students selected in such college will be allotted the training programme at a nearby college (Within
the District) where JKC Training Centre is available. In such colleges, the students will attend training at the JKC
Training Centre and the attendance will be sent to their respective colleges where they would be permitted to take
          internal and semester examinations.
● At the end of the training, principals of JKC Training hosting colleges will forward the particulars of attendance of
JKC trained students to their respective colleges.
● Also, final year projects will be submitted by company selected students to their parent colleges and evaluated
● As part of JKC Training the selected candidates take training on 10 IT Modules and using the training they would do
an IT Project with the help of Faculty and IEG IT Associates. The schedules given to them are quite interesting and in
view of that it is difficult for them to have a core project in addition to the IT Project. This would disturb the training
schedules and smooth conduct of the rollout of the IT modules. As the Non-IT branch students are selected for IT
Company, having a project in IT field is appropriate for pursuing their career in IT Sector. Principals of all the
Colleges under JKC umbrella are directed to allow IT Projects for submission as part of partial fulfillment for the
award of degree in B. Tech. (all branches). These IT projects submitted by Non-IT Branch students undergoing JKC
Training are to be evaluated as per the rules and regulations of JNTU for award of Grand/marks at the end of IV year
          II semester.
So the Principals of all the JKC registered colleges are directed to follow these guidelines for JKC training/Projects for
company selected students.
Other details regarding the allotment of students, training particulars would be communicated to the concerned Principals
through Institute for Electronic Governance in due course of time

Thanks and regards,
