The British Firework Championships - Plymouth Hoe, Tuesday 14 to Wednesday 15 August 2012. Two evenings
of entertainment culminating in spectacular fireworks displays. This year will be the Champion of Champions
competition in which the winners from the past six years will compete for the prestigious 'British Fireworks Champion of
Champions' title. The event can be viewed from Plymouth Hoe with entertainment starting from 6pm with live music as
well as fairground rides and refreshment stalls.

Plymouth Flavour Fest - City Centre Piazza, Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August 2012. Plymouth's local produce
extravaganza Flavour Fest 2012 returns for its ninth year. A major part of the Plymouth's events calendar, Flavour Fest
is a highlight of the south west's food and drink calendar. Running from the Big Screen to Place de Brest, Flavour Fest
2012 will have more than 100 food stalls packed with tasty offerings from fine food producers all across the south west.
