CANADIAN MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION SIMCOE COUNTY BRANCH JOB POSTING POSTING: 12-6 POSTING DATE: Feb. 15, 2012 CLOSING DATE: Until filled CLASSIFICATION: Crisis Casual Relief Workers – Barrie Primarily Monday to Friday all shifts The Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County Branch seeks Crisis Casual Relief Workers to provide support to participants/clients in areas related to triage of phone contacts, mobile crisis services and crisis resolution through short term crisis beds. This 24/7 service requires casual staff to fill shifts of 7 to 3, 3 to 11 and 11 PM to 7 AM. We currently require individuals who can take on primarily Monday to Friday shifts. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years combined education and experience in the human service field. Experience related to community based adult mental health or addiction preferred. Must have a Human Service Worker/Social Service Worker or nursing (RN, RPN) diploma or university degree in human services related field preferably Social Work. Flexibility for variable shifts Access to a vehicle is required. Consumers of Mental Health & Addiction Services are encouraged to apply.
