Statement of Need: There have been unprecedented advances in the fields of
gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders:
    There is a lack of comprehensive knowledge of new and/or developing
       research, technology, and guidelines for practice in virtually all areas of
       gastroenterology and hepatology.
    There is a lack of understanding of involvement with other disciplines that
       see and treat gastroenterology and hepatology patients.

Intended Audience: Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, Surgeons, Radiologists,
Fellows of these Departments, Mid-Level Providers, Other GI and Hepatology
related specialists.
