									                                              Director of Development
    Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Washington seeks a Director of Development to work in Bellevue Office.

    Join our team of passionate, dedicated staff members. Help us share news of our success; attract friends and donors to support our

    community so we may amplify and strengthen the services we offer to families across the state. Families affected by autism know

    information and guidance are critical to their well-being. FEAT families receive this critical support, and also see first-hand how

    science-driven clinical interventions help their children reach development milestones.

    Full time position, reports to Executive Director, responsible for overseeing and executing fundraising, increasing donor base, and

    developing and implementing a communications/development plan to support FEAT mission. Estimated compensation is $25 +/hour

    dependent upon demonstrated past achievements, with opportunities for quarterly-based bonuses.


    Job Description
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



     Recruit and train volunteer workforce to execute annual fundraiser “Reach for the Stars Dinner and Auction.”

     Plan and deliver various community-building events, including, but not limited to yearly awards luncheon.

     Produce marketing collateral to build FEAT brand and attract families and clients to services.

     Plan fund-raising campaigns and activities; identify and develop positioning elements to attract and cultivate new donors.

     Lead and/or coordinate marketing, public relations, advertising, online marketing and event marketing services with other FEAT staff.

     Analyze and evaluate activities; generate reports so feedback may be shared to steer future actions.

     Conduct research to identify funding sources; coordinate efforts of program directors/staff to develop responsive proposals.
     Work with Executive Director to increase collaborative partnerships in the autism community of practice.


    Job Requirements
    Required skills/experience:



     Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university with 5 years’ experience in fund raising/development in the non-profit sector.

     Basic computer software literacy as well as proficiency with special donor base software (CRM) applications.

     Social media experience in Facebook, Twitter, and web site tactics preferred. Knowledge of grant- giving, charitable foundations.

      Ideal candidate must have passion for addressing needs of FEAT clients or similar populations, be a skilled communicator – open to
          others’ ideas and joint-problem solving, demonstrate personal resilience and excel at time-management and team leadership.
