company to market vegetarian haggis, and more recently, we’ve introduced microwaveable haggis
products that have attracted new and younger consumers to the brand, and with our dynamic New
Product Development team generating many new product concepts, we expect to bring many other
exciting ideas to market.

We are looking to recruit the Factory Manager, who will report to the board of directors and is the
last position in the strategic development of the senior management team to be recruited.
If you can demonstrate commercial acumen, determination & professionalism, whilst delivering
today's KPI's and tomorrow’s improvements and ensuring that we keep delighting our customers,

The operation is spread across two sites, manufacturing around 5 million portions a year. Blending
some of the most advanced machinery and a dedicated core team of around 35 people, an
obsession with quality ensures 6 Sigma levels of quality and compliance are maintained.
You will be responsible for:
Managing, leading and developing the production team, of around 30 people, by setting
realistic but stretching targets and providing a visible, felt presence.
Complying with food safety standards, quality, health and safety & SOPs to implement risk
Delivering continuous improvement activities within the factory & dispatch to improve
efficiencies, quality and margin across the site;
Deliver the manufacturing plan by liaising with purchasing, sales.
Working with the new product development team to identify opportunities to improve
product range, quality and reduce costs;
Full profit and loss responsibility for procurement, manufacturing, packing and dispatch
We are looking for a sophisticated manager that can enable our fantastic operations team, support
their colleagues and deliver their commitments.
You will be commercially astute, an activator and obsessed with keeping promises and delivering
