half-century, The Regent Bal Harbour is dressed to impress even the
most well-traveled guest. The stylish two-story lobby, complete with
Jatoba columns, leather upholstered walls and marble flooring, welcomes
upscale business and luxury travel enthusiasts alike. The soothing natural
tones, interrupted by just a splash of color, invite and welcome guests
into the grand interior. A 26-story tower, which intersects with a pair of
17-story side wings, combines with curved glass facades to create the
impression of a ship’s arched and rounded sails. Boasting 750 feet of
sandy beach expanse complete with an infinity-edge pool, and cabanas,
The Regent Bal Harbour is in a class of its own.

residential touches. Large terraces are enhanced by dramatic ocean
views, while interiors are accented with mahogany parquet floors, granite
stone and seductive leather details. Each guest rooms has a cleverly
concealed “Powder Room” – a.k.a., bathroom – whose exterior walls
offer only a hint of a door handle to reveal that something is within.
Original artwork and personal touches such as tables topped by candles,
orchids and silver photo frames create a comforting residential quality.

DINING: Regent Bal Harbour’s signature restaurant, 1 Bleu, features international
delicacies paired with locally grown produce and fresh local seafood, all
of it expertly prepared by Executive Chef Gerdy Rodriguez. Cuban-born
and Miami-raised Rodriguez steers away from the traditional approach to
food and creates signature dishes that involve an inimitable method of
preparation. His haute cuisine pairs European techniques with Asian
ingredients to generate a distinctive dining experience.

BAR: Exemplifying Regent Bal Harbour’s Asian and nautical inspirations, the
hotel’s bar area displays three-dimensional Shirori silk sculptures and
7,500 dischronic crystals, which reflect and shine throughout the lobby
giving the impression of water in motion. A zinc-topped bar and
Argentinean dolomite floor covering leave rock-hard impressions, while
blue and coral tones enhance the bar’s feeling of calm. The venue is
arranged so that patrons can choose between intimate settings and a more
                  open environment.

ART COLLECTION: One aspect of The Regent Bal Harbour even the most jaded guest can’t
miss: the privately commissioned art collection. With its commitment to
showcasing fine art, the hotel contracted California-based art consultant
Joan Warren-Grady to serve as in-house curator. The alluring artwork is
on view throughout all public areas and guest rooms, which feature an
eclectic mix of works from new and established artists including sculptor
Guy Dill and painters Jay McCafferty and Darren Waterston. Dill,
famous for his Bronze Angel series, displays his stunning 30-ft. bronze
sculpture in the Haulover Inlet, overlooking the water. McCafferty’s
“solar burning” works capture a contemporary vibe, combining pastel on
paper, which is then burned with the sun’s rays using a magnifying glass.
Waterson’s distinctive glicees adorn the walls of guest rooms throughout
                The Regent Bal Harbour.

SPA: The Guerlain Spa at The Regent Bal Harbour is the first facility in North
America from one of the spa industry’s most acclaimed brands. Located
on the beach-access level and situated connecting two hotel wings, the
                10,000 square-foot spa is highlighted by a 10-foot, bush-hammered
limestone water wall with a floating teak floor. Bamboo flooring,
neutral-colored stones and earthy textures impart serenity upon all who
                enter.

Hydrotherapy; and Intensive Hand and Foot Therapies with Medical
                Pedicures.

Thoroughly transforming, full-day spa packages are available including
spa cuisine lunches, as are partial-day, three-hour experiences like Jet-
lag and Pre-flight therapies. Lifestyle and Nutritional Coaching is also
                available.

pristine beach tempt guests with the comforts of lounge chairs and over-
sized umbrellas for relaxing and enjoying the warmth of the sun and
fresh ocean breezes. Audio books, portable DV players and a “Beach
Bibliotheque” are also available to guests.
