Attack! Marketing & Promotions is looking for a Marketing Intern to work with our Account Management
department, assisting in day to day operations. This is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of a

RESPONSIBILITIES
    Conducting online marketing, research, recruiting and postings

Laia Marketing: Intern




LOCATION

JOB DESCRIPTION
The internship involves lead generation and data entry, more specifically:
    Analyzing a client prospect profile, which is a list of factors or traits that our client would like their ideal
        customer to have. It will include company size, location, service, bureaucracy complexity, etc.
    Using the internet, yellow pages, and referral partner contacts to generate a list of companies that fit the
        CPP.
    Calling each business to ensure that we have a proper phone number and contact name. (A Skype account
        and headset will be provided).
    Inputting the list you generate into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or our sales software, Prophet.

COMPENSATION
Interns will be compensated $100 for every 250 leads.

SCHEDULE
This is a virtual position, and may be completed at the intern’s leisure. The normal period allotted to complete a
project is 2-3 days.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates with a 3.0 GPA or above, with strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
The interns must have a strong marketing background to easily identify and understand our client’s needs, product
and/or service, and be able to make sensible marketing decisions in selecting prospects for our clients.

Los Angeles Choreographers and Dancers: Web 2/Marketing Intern
LOCATION
Los Angeles, CA

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Founded in 1979, Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers, a non-profit organization, has presented thousands of
educational programs and created critically acclaimed new works through its two professional dance companies
Louise Reichlin & Dancers (modern) and Zapped Taps(tm)/Alfred Desio (electronic and acoustic tap). Although
Desio died in 2007, projects are still being done using his choreography and electronic tap invention, Tap-Tronics.
However, the focus is mainly on the modern, with works in repertory including The Tennis Dances, the family
dance/theatre/multimedia work The Patchwork Girl of Oz, and the new interactive The Reality Series. Their most
recent project is an interactive dance/theatre/multimedia piece called "The Better Bite You With" which premiers
April 19 at the Jazz Bakery.

This internship is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts
Commission. More than 125 undergraduate interns will participate in the program this year at 95 performing,
presenting, and literary nonprofit arts organizations and municipal arts agencies throughout LA County. In addition
to their full-time 10 week paid internship, interns will participate in one educational event as part of the program,
which is funded by the Getty Foundation. The educational event is designed to provide interns with a broader
perspective of the vibrant arts and cultural landscape of the County. For additional information on the Los Angeles

JOB DESCRIPTION
The summer project is comprehensive and specific, focusing on the development of our WEB 2.0 strategies to
enhance our company in terms of communication and social media. The intern will help redesign our Web site,
create Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Wordpress, etc. pages, and integrate our company’s past, present, and
future. In addition, the intern will represent the company to potential sponsors as he or she conducts marketing
and research for both earned and donated income. He or she will coordinate bookings, fundraising, and
performance projects. There may be some fieldwork in educational settings as well as in production. The intern will
prepare materials, including press packets and fundraising packets in hard copy, as well as digital format. The
intern will also help support our administrative structure and contribute to the company’s growth.

COMPENSATION and SCHEDULE
   $3500 for 10 wks
   Begin between 6/1 8/21 for a 10 week period

QUALIFICATIONS
   An interest and knowledge of WEB 2.0 and new social media communication and marketing skills
   Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
   A mature attitude

   Computer (Mac) literacy including MS Word, Filemaker Pro, Excel, etc. is an advantage

entertaining excursion into Paul Blart’s world with a full-scale mall experience, complete with flash games, videos
and downloads. Imageworks Interactive provides creative campaign design and development for clients across

roster of non-studio clients. The group specializes in the management and extension of entertainment brands into
the digital space. Notable worldwide campaigns include Sony Pictures, the Spider-Man movie trilogy, Surf’s Up,

The Account Services team is responsible for the day-to-day account management for Imageworks Interactive's
Film Marketing clients. Position is part-time; ideal candidate must be available 5 days per week; 5 hours a day . The
Assistant will help the team as they set the digital marketing strategy and implement marketing programs to
promote the studio's domestic and international theatrical properties. Projects will include website maintenance,
game testing, email marketing, copyediting, asset management, and other administrative tasks. The Assistant will
also be responsible for monitoring trends in the digital space and presenting updates and best practices to the
team. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Account Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Account Services team in their day-to-day project management tasks. This will include
proofreading/copyediting, transcribing, asset management, and working with the Production team to ensure that
projects are completed on deadline.
Manage and maintain 13 international portal websites hosted within the Sony Pictures CMS as well as
sonypictures.net and all worldwide release date pages.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of social networking initiatives.
Other tasks as requested by the Account Services team.

WHAT: Attend a presentation by fashion industry professionals.

USC Marshall, USC Roski Welcome Captains of Fashion Industry

On April 27, the world of high fashion comes to USC as trendsetters and tastemakers gather for the latest
installment of the Captains of Fashion Industry lecture series. Organized by USC Marshall and the USC Roski
School of Fine Arts, the event brings together the ‚gurus of denim‛: Adriano Goldschmied, the name behind
Gap, Diesel, AG, Adriano Goldschmied Jeans, Goldsign, A Gold E and others, and Jerome Dahan, founder and
CEO of Citizens of Humanity. Their vision has widespread implications for both business and fashion in California,
where twenty-two percent of all garments are denim.

According to Mark Werts, founder and CEO of American Rag CIE and sponsor of the upcoming lecture, the series
grew out of an awareness by the USC Board of Councilors that promoting an interchange of ideas between the
academic and business communities could have tangible benefits for both. Bringing people to campus to share
personal stories about a broad range of industries, says Werts, a USC alumnus, offers tremendous value to MBAs
and other students, who get a window into real-world experiences, what Werts calls the ‚blood and guts‛ of
running a business. It also allows students to see first-hand the critical importance of ‚following your heart and
doing things with passion.‛

The free lecture will take place from 7 pm to 9 pm in Harris Hall’s Gin D. Wong Auditorium (Room 101), and is
open to the public.

Henry Gray is the Head of Global Equity and Trading and Vice President at Dimensional Fund Advisors. His position
entails coordinating equity trading across Dimensional’s various locations worldwide. Gray also developed the
system the company uses to explain to customers how different market environment impact their investments.
Prior to joining Dimensional in 1995, he worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance company and Bear Stearns and Co.

trading simulations, capital market research presentations, IPO, M&A, LBO and restructuring simulations, pitch
books and various case studies

            Individual career advising appointments are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Career advising appointments can be anything from quick resume and cover letter reviews to job search strategies,
                      preparing for interviews or career fairs, salary negotiation, and more.

                    No appointment is necessary for these quick, 15 minute meetings ” just stop by!

     Additional walk-in career advising appointments have been added for graduating seniors only.
     Seniors can make an appointment or drop by on the following Friday from 1:00 - 4:30pm: May 1, May 8
