Dear PDGA League Director,

Thanks for directing a PDGA League! This version of the League Report has been designed in MS Excel 2003
to provide wider compatibillity. TDs who do not have Excel* or are unable to report in this format are
requested to forward this file and assign the task of reporting to a local club member or event volunteer who
has the appropriate computer capabilities. All reports must be submitted using this League spreadsheet.

Note: Some automated buttons using macros have been provided to simplify some tasks in Excel. You may
need to change your Macro security settings in Excel for the buttons to work. These macro buttons do not work in:
* Open Office, the free Office Suite that contains a spreadsheet program compatible with Excel. It can be
downloaded: www.openoffice.org Note: Excel macros will not work, requiring manual sorting & pasting
Alternate instructions are provided if your macro buttons do not work.

These worksheets are accessed by clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. All pages with Red and Orange tabs
must be filled in where appropriate. The Black tabs are optional for League tracking, payouts and memberships.

INFO Enter basic League info. You may only enter info in yellow cells throughout this spreadsheet. All green cells include
(Required) formulas and are usually protected by password from being changed by the TD. Enter info on the courses you plan
to play each week. You can change this information at any time before submitting your report.
UPLOAD This page is where the master list of your players resides and where all new players each week must be added.
(Required) Your weekly scores will automatically end up on this page which you use to upload scores each week to the PDGA
web site. More detailed instructions are listed on the right side of the UPLOAD page.
W1, W2… There are 10 pages, one for each week starting with W1. Once you have updated your UPLOAD page with your
(Required) new players each week, click the pink arrow on the W# page to automatically get your master player list added to
the page. The only information that must be added to each W# page is the raw score each player threw each week.
Columns F thru I are for League Directors to modify and use as needed based on the format of their league.
Summary This page can be modified as required by the League Director to do the calculations for tracking weekly results and
(Required) payouts based on how the league will be run, i.e. points, so many best scores, handicaps, etc. The only requirement
is the final standings for each player in each division must be shown in columns A-E so the PDGA can award C-tier
points to each player based on their finish position.
SUBMIT Provides a checklist to help league directors make sure they’ve done the steps needed to complete this form prior
REPORT to submission to the PDGA. Fees are automatically calculated each week. "Sign" the form before sending it in.

INSTRUCTIONS

This Upload page is the master list of all players who entered your league and their
scores. You upload this page weekly to the PDGA website to generate Preview
(unofficial) Ratings online until the league is completed and this report is filed with PDGA.
Enter the name of every player who plays in your league. Enter it even if they didn't
complete the one round (999) they started during the whole league. Only enter a
player's name once even if they played in more than one division during the league.

Enter a DivCode for each player here but you can change it each week on the weekly
tab if they switch around. If you're running a handicap league with no divisions, you can
enter everyone in one division like Open. BUT everyone must have a DivCode.

Every player must either have their PDGA number entered in Column P or a unique
code you create to keep track of players without a PDGA number. Your non-PDGA
codes MUST start with a letter like L for league. You could assign your first
non-PDGA member with the code L1, then the next would be L2, etc. Using their
initials is also fine. Then add a unique number to the end when players have
the same initials. Your club member ID codes are also fine as long as they start
with a letter or just add the letter C in front. But always use their PDGA number if
they have one so we can use their Player Ratings to help produce Preview Ratings.

Non-members may join and get their new PDGA# during league. Replace their non-PDGA
code with their new PDGA # in column P on this page, plus column D on all W pages.

The Dupes? Column Q will show if you entered the same Code or PDGA# already.
Enter Y in Column O only if a player is playing this week. Then, when you go to the
weekly tab W1, W2, etc. and click on the pink arrow to Get Names, it will bring all of
your players for this week to the top of the list and in their divisions. The Division Sort
and Name Sort buttons can be clicked any time to see the player list that way.

Once you fill out the scores for each player on the weekly tab, their scores will
automatically be copied to this page as long as their codes match on this page and
the weekly tab. If the number of player scores entered on the weekly tab matches
the number of scores shown above on row 3, you are ready to upload scores to
the PDGA website. If the player numbers do not match, you will see a red ERR! Code
in row 3 above the week with the problem. Jump to Troubleshooting Guide below.

UPLOADING
Click on the link at the top of this column to access the PDGA site for your upload.
Access your league page and click on the Upload option to open the window. Click
on the COPY for UPLOAD button at the top of this column and paste into the window.
Add a course layout if needed and link it to the scores for this week/round so ratings

each division (meaningless for leagues). Don't worry. Players will find their ratings.

TROUBLESHOOTING
> If the # Played on this page is greater than the Number who Played on the Week
page, it probably means there's a duplicate PDGA # or Code in Column P. You will
likely see <Dup! somewhere in Column Q.

> If the # Played on this page is smaller than the Number who Played on the Week
page, it probably means the names of one or more players who played that week have
not yet been added to this master list of all league players.

> If it looks like a PDGA # or Code should be bringing a score over from another page
but the score isn't showing up, retype the PDGA # or Code on the weekly page and
possibly this page. Sometimes a blank you can't see accidentally gets typed in the
cell so they both look alike but don’t connect.

OPEN OFFICE NOTES
Excel macro buttons do not work in Open Office. Here's what you need to do to execute
what these buttons were programmed to do when using Open Office. This page is protected
but without a password. For the first two items below, it's necessary to unprotect the sheet
before sorting by selecting Tools > Protect Document > Sheet and unchecking it.

Manually select all rows with player info from columns A thru N. Do not include
3 columns O & P. Then, Copy these selected cells for pasting in PDGA site.

New Players: Always enter the names and PDGA or League codes first
on the UPLOAD page. Then, click the red arrow below to get the names
of all league players automatically pasted on this page. You may change
the DivCode for a player if player is swtiching divisions. Then, simply enter
the raw score for each player this week in column E. Each score will
automatically show up on the UPLOAD page to update each player's scores.
You may sort the order of players on this page at any time without messing
up the links to the UPLOAD page. BUT DO NOT INSERT ANY ROWS.

Open Office: This arrow button will not work in Open Office. Here are the steps
to get names to this page from the UPLOAD page. First, switch to the UPLOAD
page. Select Tools> Protect Document> Sheet. Uncheck it. There's no password.
