Adam D'Angelo is the chief executive and co-founder of Quora, an online
knowledge market based in Palo Alto, California.                                                                       Adam D'Angelo

He was chief technology officer of Facebook, and also served as its vice
president of engineering. [2][3]
He left Facebook in 2008. In June 2009, he started Quora with Charlie Cheever,
another early Facebook employee.[4]
D'Angelo competed in the Association for Computing Machinery collegiate world
programming contest while attending the California Institute of Technology.[5] In
2005, he was one of the top 24 finalists in the international Topcoder Collegiate
Challenge. [6] He took eighth place in the 2001 USA Computing Olympiad for high

school students.[7]
