ON ROAD Championship
Regulations – Version 12/1/12
Ludlow Castle Motor Club ltd will organise an ON ROAD Championship, which can consist of any
of the following types of events –
12 Cars, Navigational Scatters & Treasure Hunts.
The championship will be held under the General Regulations of the MSA (incorporating the
provisions of the International Sporting code of the FIA), these supplementary regulations, and any
written instructions that the Series Administrator may issue.
The Series Administrator reserves the right to alter and amend these championship regulations in
accordance with D11 of the MSA yearbook.
The Series Administrator has the powers of an Organiser specifically as under D25.1.9, D25.1.10,
D25.1.16, and D25.1.17, of the MSA yearbook.
Results and bulletins will be issued at regular intervals throughout the season. Any bulletins will
carry the power of these S.Rs in accordance with D11 of the MSA yearbook.
Competitors MUST lodge any query at the end of each event to the event organiser as any issues
after the event will be disregarded.
The event organiser’s decision is FINAL.

There will be a maximum number of 8 events within the championship which must run between
January 1st & 31st December 2012.
No events to take place 2 weeks prior to the running of the Peak Revs Road Rally unless approval
gained from the Clerk of Course.
To qualify for championship points each member of the crew must either organise a 12 Car,
Navigational Scatter Rally or Navigational Treasure Hunt for LCMC and 100 points will be
awarded. Marshalling on any NON LCMC event will qualify but no points will be awarded.
If through Force Majeure any event dates are altered or cancelled, the Series Administrator
reserves the right to accept a change of date or to cancel that particular qualifying event.
Any changes will be given to all Championship Contenders as soon as it is deemed possible.
Bulletins issued by the Series Administrator during the year will have the same authority as those
within the current yearbook.
Event Organisers Regulations.
All events MUST be approved by the Series Administrator.
All permit’s MUST be applied for by the Series Administrator.
All Regulations MUST be approved by Series Administrator.
All events MUST be announced 6 weeks prior to taking place
A maximum of 2 organisers per event.
Only fully paid members of Ludlow Castle Motor club ltd can compete in the championship and
club cards MUST be shown at signing on.
A final entry list and a full set of results must be sent to the Series Administrator by e-mail within
seven days of the event-taking place.
The Series Administrator must be informed at the earliest possible time giving notification of
cancellation of any event.
It is the competitors’ responsibility to obtain regulations for each individual event.
The Series Administrator will not be responsible for any entries refused.
The Championship is open to all fully paid up members of Ludlow Castle Motor Club ltd.
No points can be claimed retrospectively.
Competitors must register in either the Drivers or Navigators Championship to score points.
It is not necessary for a Driver and Navigator to remain as a team throughout the duration of the
Championship positions will be issued with 7 days of the event.
The Championship results will then be deemed to be true and correct and under no circumstances
will be altered.
A competitor is not allowed to compete and marshall on the same event.
Proof of marshalling must be given in order to claim points.
All vehicles must be insured, taxed & MOT’d.
Any perpetual awards will remain the property of the Ludlow Castle Motor Club ltd and must be
returned to the Awards Officer on demand at the expense of the holder. These awards are to be
kept in good condition and the holder is responsible for their safekeeping.

1st Expert Class Driver & Navigator An Award
1st Novice Class Driver & Navigator An Award
In order to Collect Championship Awards at the end of the season, all competitors are required
to have marshalled / organised on at least one event throughout the year and will score points by
competing on a minimum of 2 events.
A competitor can only win one award
Drivers & Navigators
A = Expert - Having finished in the top three of a “Club Sport” status road event over the last 3
C = Novice - Having never achieved the above results.
A contender will maintain the status declared on the Championship registration form for the current
season regardless of result(s).
Events to Score.
The Championship will consist of a maximum of 8 qualifying events with a minimum of 4 events to
Overall Placing 1st o/a registered contender 100 points
2 o/a registered contender 95 points
3rd o/a registered contender 90 points
Decreasing thereafter by five points per registered contender per place
100 points will be award to an organiser(s) of an event.
In addition, if a contender starts but does not finish an event 10 points will be awarded to him/her.
This is mainly to show in the results sheet when a competitor has taken part in an event.
In the event of a tie between two or more contenders, the contender who has gained the most
points chronologically will be deemed the Winner or by other means deemed to be fair.

by them and by the General Regulations of the Royal Automobile Club Motors Sports Association Ltd. I also agree to
abide by and be bound by the Supplementary Regulations issued by event organisers of the events which I enter and
which form part of the LCMC ON ROAD Championship (“The Events”).
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of my being permitted to take part in “The Events” I agree to save
harmless and keep indemnified LCMC, such person(s), Company or body as may be selected by LCMC to promote or
organise the Events and their respective officials, servants, representatives and agents, together with other
competitors and their respective servants, representatives and agents from and against all actions, claims, cost,
expenses and demands in respect of death or injury to or damage to the property of myself, my passenger(s),
driver(s), mechanic(s) or associated personnel arising out of or in connection with this entry or my taking part in the
Events or any of them.
