VALHALLA TRAINING CENTER ANNOUNCES TRAINING AND
COURSE SCHEDULES FOR SPRING 2007
Montrose, CO - Valhalla Training Center, the State-of-the-Art reality based training facility at
the Elk Mountain Resort, announces its scheduled courses for Spring 2007.
The schedule includes the following courses: Advanced Concealed Carry Tactics, Combat
Focus Shooting Instructor Development, Combat Focus Shooting, Strategos International
Low Light Course, InStriking, Extreme Close Quarters Tactics, 2-Day Concealed Carry Tactics
Course, Patrol Officer Survival Course, Tactics for Emergency Medical Personnel, Tactical

Most courses are held in Valhalla’s computer-controlled, two-story, 16,000-square-foot indoor
pistol training facility with a cutting edge automated pistol range and a two-story, 360-degree
live fire safe scenario house, the courses are designed to give civilian and law enforcement
personnel an incomparable training experience for real-world conditions. The courses at
Valhalla Training Center have been designed to ensure that this is not just another school
teaching on principles developed on square ranges and proven in competition.
The shoot-house uses innovative technology and design (lighting, sound and props were
developed with the assistance of Broadway stage designers) and progressive teaching models to
provide trainees with the most realistic training scenarios possible. Various scenario rooms
throughout the house include a subway station, street scene, bedrooms, a kitchen, a bar,
nightclub, industrial area, warehouse, automobile, and the first class section and cockpit of an
airliner. Measures have been taken to ensure that these scenarios are tailored to the student’s
reality and taught by Instructors with years of experience in making people more dangerous and

As the Director of Shooting Operations, Rob Pincus controls the full spectrum of programs at
Valhalla’s Training Center. Pincus is one of the next generation of world-class instructors whose
theories and courses are based on what really happens during violent encounters. Pincus has
experience and training in law enforcement, private security and military ventures and has
worked as a consultant and instructor for many years.

In 2006, Pincus was invited to speak at the International Law Enforcement Symposium at NATO
Joint Forces Command Headquarters in Brunssum, The Netherlands. Additionally, he is a staff
writer for S.W.A.T. Magazine and has contributed to many other publications including Tactical
Response, Law & Order, and Gun World magazines. Rob is a member of the Hunting and
Shooting Sport Heritage Foundation’s Century Club, a life member of the Law Enforcement
Alliance of America and is a graduate of The Military College of Vermont.
In addition to a full menu of scheduled courses, The Valhalla Training Center specializes in
private instruction or personalized courses for both civilians and law enforcement personnel.
