We are writing to update you on some recent developments at Dua Associates. Dua Associates as
you know has a full service presence across the country – unique as one cohesive partnership,
professionally-managed by an Executive Committee.
In December 2009 our firm called an Executive Committee and Partners’ Meeting as a result of
which Shishir Sharma, Shailendra Komatreddy and N.K. Dilip along with their teams have
ceased to be with Dua Associates effective January 1, 2010.
As a part of the transition, whilst we bid farewell to Shishir Sharma for the second time, we
welcome back Munish Sharma who was formerly with Dua Associates and has sought to come
home. Munish brings with him rich experience and contributes significantly to a fuller strength
in the M&A and infrastructure practices. We have also had the pleasure of being able to attract
Dinesh Mathur who has brought with him a successful litigation practice and Ashok Chhabra the
veteran former General Counsel for P&G Asia Pacific.
While the second phase of dynamism in the Indian & Global Economy has again thrown up
opportunities for startup enterprise, we are happy to share the news of Duas having obtained
permission to establish a Singapore presence.
With this, the firms’ ability to service its clients in all locations continues to become stronger and
more robust with additional partners. As a group we remain committed to maintaining the
highest degree of professionalism, ethics, compliance, governance and performance.
Should you require any further information on Dua Associates, our people, new service offerings
and/or new offices, please feel free to contact either me or Balinder Singh [email address
redacted]. In the meanwhile some of our new and existing colleagues will be in touch with you
Wishing you all the very best for the 2010.
