Endoscopical Procedures

      Gastroscopy- examination of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum
       with a flexible instrument equipped with camera. Instrument allows
       obtaining a view of the inside of the above mentioned organs.
      Anoscopy- examination of the distal part of gastrointestinal tract with
       the rigid endoscope.
      Sigmoidoscopy- examination of the sigmoid colon- large intestine
       placed in the left side of the abdomen. With a flexible instrument
       equipped with a camera. Instrument allows obtaining view of the inside
       of the intestine.
      Colonoscopy- examination of the large intestine and sometimes distal
       part of the small intestine with a flexible instrument equipped with a
       camera. Instrument allows obtaining a view of inside the above
       mentioned organs.

Therapeutic GI endoscopical procedures

      Biopsy- removal of the small (1x1mm) bites of the mucosa in order to
       examine it under the microscope.
      Polypectomy- Removal of polyps (pathological mucosa)
      Mucosal resection- removal of the pathologically changed mucosa,
       usually a few square cm.
      Tattooing- marking mucosa with a special stain which allows detection
       of this place in future, or apply treatment in the proper place.

Surgical Procedures

      Lumps and Bumps- removal of benign tumours of the soft tissues.
      Hernia repair- closure of the defect in abdominal wall, using soft
       tissues or synthetic mash.
      Simple Haemorrhoids- Barron’s applicator- application of rubber bands
       on the piles
      Diagnostic laparoscopy- exploration of abdominal organs in diagnostic
       purposes.
      Skin/Muscle/lymph node biopsies- taking specimens from soft tissues
       for histological examination
      Simple Toe Nail excision.
