Using Key Tips in Office 2007 In Office 2007 some of the programs: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and parts of Outlook have been given a new look along with new keyboard shortcuts for accessing and executing commands. These are called Key Tips, to view these: Press the ALT key on the keypad, small badges will appear along the tabs of the Ribbon, on the Quick Access Toolbar and the main Office button, using these badges will then give you access to the Key Tips. Press the key for the tab or Quick Access Toolbar that you require, when you do this you will see the Key Tips for every command on that tab. Press the key or keys for the command you want. In this example the P for Page layout has been chosen: Depending on which command you choose an action will be executed or a menu may open. If the Key Tip badge shows two letters, press them one after the other.
