Scenario Overview – 1

   Purpose and Benefits:

    Purpose
         This scenario addresses how a project coordinator can determine which employees are best
          suited to be assigned to a new consulting order. Based on the required qualifications and the
          proposed time period, a new search help created for this scenario will be used to return a list of
          qualified employees and give an indication of their availability.

    Benefits
         Integration of a new HR search help to be used in all areas where an employee is requested

    Process Description in Detail:

          Project Staffing

             This scenario addresses how a project coordinator can determine which
              employees are best suited to be assigned to a new consulting order. Based
              on the required qualifications and the proposed time period, a new search
              help created for this scenario will be used to return a list of qualified
              employees and give an indication of their availability.
             The employee qualifications maintained in HR (Infotype 0024) are evaluated
              to provide a list of potential resources. The employees' availability is
              assessed by subtracting planned hours allocated in CATS from employees'
              total planned working times (as set in Infotype 0007).
             The process described is based on a SD order, an SD order with PS PSP-
              structure, PSP-element level as well as an SD order with network activity.
              The new search help is available at any time the value-help is called for a
              field requiring an employee number.
