3 Most Important Factors In Learning Guitar and 6 Steps To Master The

The most important tip for the beginner is the realisation of the necessity to have
a solid foundation on which to develop their guitar skills. There are three key
areas upon which this foundation should be based.
1: Ear Training:
This is most often overlooked by the beginning guitarist as something that is either
boring or has less significance than other lessons. Without developing a good ear
for music your progress to any competent level on any instrument is fundamentally
floored. At the end of the day it is about making music. There a numerous ear training
programs out there online that make this process fun and easy, more like a game
than anything else. We don't necessarily have to be born with perfect pitch as this
is something that anybody can develop with practice. Relative Pitch for iOS is a
great app for ear training.
2.Routine Daily Practice:
Another important factor is to have a daily practice routine. As with learning
anything progress only come with dedication and structured practice. Whether you're
a complete beginner learning open chords to advanced players learning to improvise
with modes, a daily routine needs to be adhered to. It's recommended for beginners
to study basic chords and pentatonic scales as these are the easiest to learn but
are the bread and butter for the majority of guitar based music. Regular practice
is the key here, it is better to practice 1 hour a day for a week rather that 7
hours once a week.
3.Find A Teacher:
Nothing really compares to one on one tuition from a good teacher but this is usually
expensive and time restrictive. With the internet being what it is today, i.e the
explosion of online video, online guitar lessons are an extremely effective way
of learning guitar. You have some great companies offering structured lessons for
the beginner through to the advanced player. If you've been thinking about taking
online guitar lessons read the following article on one of the most established
online guitar lesson companies
