YOUTHBUILD FINDS RELIEF AT HARVEST TIME INTERNATIONAL
Sanford/Seminole County YouthBuild moved its offices into Harvest Time International
in August of 2009. Harvest Time International, a global ministry, is a non-profit hunger and
disaster relief organization. They distribute food and household goods and medical supplies to
sustain food banks and other non-profits in the United States.
“Being a partner of Harvest Time International will allow YouthBuild to expand
operations by increasing the number of students we serve in addition to increasing the number of
residents we serve,” explains YouthBuild Director, Jennifer Taylor. “We have already seen an
increase in the requests for construction projects in the community as we are building new
partnerships through the contacts we have made at Harvest Time International.”
Other partners of Harvest Time International include Project H.O.P.E, Real Message
Ministries, RTC Entertainment, Seminole H.E.A.R.T., Seminole Community College, American
Red Cross, Seminole County, and New Directions Community Outreach.
Sanford/Seminole County YouthBuild is a community improvement program that assists
young people ages 16-24 in obtaining a high school diploma while learning on the job training in
the construction field. The nine-month program also includes intensive counseling, leadership
development, job placement, and mentoring. For more information, please contact Director,
Jennifer Taylor at 321.832.0749 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
