Call for other pick up prices
As the Transport Secretary for the RAF Walking and Road Marching Association, one of my
duties is to organise transport for the Nijmegen Four Day Marches. For over 30 years I
have provided this service to the Royal Air Force, Air Cadets, the Army, T.A. & Army
Cadet Units, as well as civilians. I am responsible for co-ordinating teams and individuals
from pick up points in the UK to Nijmegen and back, helping personnel overcome some of
the awkward problems that can sometimes spoil what, for most, is a very enjoyable week.
Included in the price is coach travel, tunnel or ferry crossing. We have arranged a
centralised meeting point, which will be Beaconsfield Services M40/A355, we had intended
to use RAF Northolt but due to security for the Olympic Games this is not possible this year.
Cost from Beaconsfield is £105 per person return. Should you require a personal Unit
pick up, please e-mail me for a quote. (Groups only). Once again, we have decided to use
the Ferry for the outward journey and returning on Eurotunnel. We expect to arrive at
Nijmegen around 11.30 subject to British Admin instructions. As I am the only point of
contact, for RAF WARMA, on this project for 2012, please do not hesitate to contact me
should you have any queries.
