									                         Master Studies in Finance
      information for candidates with diplomas or degree certificates from abroad

Program Master Studies in Finance fulfils Master requirements of European Union. It is
taught in English and based on world standards in finance programs.
The proposed program is directed at the students of Finance major. It consists of four
semesters of classes and it is aimed at students who completed at least two semesters
including the following courses: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Mathematics, Statistics,
Informatics, Law, Management, Public Finance.
Student can study also during some semesters provided that he completed in his university the
courses preceding these taught during the respective semester.

Program consists of compulsory and elective courses. Among the elective courses there are
the courses containing the material necessary to obtain the world-wide professional licenses,
including financial analysts and risk managers, namely: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®),
Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA), Professional Risk Manager (PRM),
Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

The program fee is 2.500 Euro per each year plus registration fee - 200 Euro (students from
European Union are exempted from payment).

                         SCHEDULE OF ENROLMENT:
STEP 1 – Check your documents and send scans to Master Studies in Finance Office
To apply for Master Studies in Finance, the candidate should have Bachelor degree (or Master
Degree) and should be eligible to study at university level. The following documents should
be provided:

- original of the document proving Bachelor (or Master) degree translated into Polish by
certified, official translator, It should be translated into Polish by certified, official translator
(if translation into Polish is impossible – in English),
- original of diploma should be provided with legalization from Polish Embassy or with
apostille. Information about apostille candidate will find on:

Legalization is needed from candidates whose country is not on the above list concerning
apostille.
- transcript of records attached to document proving Bachelor degree translated into Polish by
certified, official translator (if translation into Polish is impossible – in English)
- original of the document allowing to continue study at university (diploma of secondary
school) translated into Polish or English by certified, official translator,
- certificate with confirmation that student has a good command of English language (extra
certificate is not necessary, if mark in English course is in transcript of records from
secondary school or in transcript of records attached to document proving Bachelor degree),
- CV – in English or in Polish,
- scan of passport or othet ID with photo.

Send scanned copies of documents via e-mail to: olga.rutkowska@ue.wroc.pl. Deadline:
29.06.2012. Title of the mail should be: “Enrolment 2012”.

STEP 2 – after confirmation, that you will take part in oral examination, please log in system:

And pay enrolment fee 200 Euro (account number you will see after registration)

After screening application in case of acceptance and before the oral exam University of
Economics requires that formal payment for enrolment (200 Euro) will be transferred to the
account of the university.

STEP 3 – Oral entrance exam.
After screening application in case of acceptance candidates should pay enrolment fee (200
Euro), send scan of proof of payment via e-mail to: olga.rutkowska@ue.wroc.pl. and take an
oral entrance exam in July or in September (in first part). Date of exam could be settled on an
individual basis, candidates from abroad could take this exam via Skype.

After screening application in case of acceptance and before the oral exam University of
Economics requires that formal payment for enrolment (200 Euro) will be transferred to the
account of the university (information about account – below).

ATTENTION – filled application form without documents is invalid, person, who does not
submit documents, does not participate in enrolment!!! Candidate who will not complete
application form will not take part in enrolment!

Candidate who passed exam, till the end of September should deliver originals of above-
mentioned documents and also:
- medical certificate
- four photos
- proof of payment tuition fee.

Candidates who will have problems with meeting the deadline should contact with
Bachelor/Master Studies in Finance Office by mail: olga.rutkowska@ue.wroc.pl.
