Seniors: If you plan to apply for a CSU, UC or other 4-year college, you may need to take the ACT or
SAT for the first time (or again, if you want) this October and/or November. The regular registration
deadline for the October 6 SAT is September 7. The regular registration deadline for the October 27 ACT
is September 21. See the yellow flyer in Civics, Economics, English IV, Ag. Business, AVID, career
center, or counseling office for all ACT and SAT registration deadlines and all test dates this Fall.

Your 1 opportunity to earn senior points starts now! Our first fundraiser will be a Bunco Night at the
Memorial Hall on Sept. 22 . Pre-sale tickets will be available during lunch outside of the front office
starting Monday. Each ticket you sell will earn you a point. If you have a card table at home that you can
loan for the event, bring it to Mr. Moore’s and earn 3 points!!

Seniors – Community Connection Volunteer Opportunity – Just for Children luncheon is Saturday,
September 15, 2012 from 9:30-3:30 and volunteers are needed. Please see Mrs. Hogg in the Career
Center for more information.

Seniors – Community Connection Volunteer Opportunity – Orland Recreation Department is looking
for volunteers to help with the fall youth soccer league. Please see Mrs. Hogg in the Career Center for
more information ASAP, because there will be a meeting next week.

buying OHS apparel. ASB stickers are on sale this week during lunch in front of the office for only ten
dollars. Ten dollars now will save you money throughout the year, so buy your sticker today.

Adult Education start date has been postponed. It will begin Tuesday, September 11, 2012.

First CSF meeting of the year is TODAY in Room 1. Bring your lunch.

The Media Center will open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays from
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Students are not to park cars anywhere on campus except for the parking lot by the gym or near
the 2 story building. Parking by the weight room or locker rooms are for staff only. Parking by
the tennis courts and MPR are also off limits to students.
