English III Second Semester Subject Area Exam

subject area exam for second semester:
Research: Locating, organizing, and evaluating primary and secondary sources;
paraphrasing; documentation and citation; plagiarism
Reading Literature: point of view, making inferences, historical context,
dialect, characterization, literary terms (ie. simile, metaphor, analogy, symbolism,
imagery); students will be asked to read and respond to representative passages
included on the test.
