JOB DESCRIPTION Victory Energy Operations, LLC. POSITION: Warehouse Manager ISSUE DATE: 7/13/2011 REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager FLSA: TBD By HR OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Manage incoming and outgoing movement of materials throughout all warehouses at multiple VEO locations. Oversee and direct the daily activities of the Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling personnel. Monitor inventories through computer information systems. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supervise the daily activities of the Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse and Material Handling personnel at Collinsville, Cushing and Spare Parts warehouses. 2. Maintain JD Edwards inventory accuracy through Cycle Counts, Physical Inventories and associated reconciliation. 3. Support Production by picking, staging and delivering needed materials, working closely with Production Scheduling to ensure success. 4. Maintain a Customer Service attitude with Suppliers (taking delivery of materials) and Customers (proper packaging and documentation of shipments). 5. Coordinate department activities that engage Production, Scheduling, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Accounting. 6. Lead the Material Review Board team and process to include coordinate meetings, report findings, follow through with assignments and final disposal of materials. 7. Interactive hands-on manager, that can balance the daily floor activities while managing the required administrative duties and department goals. GOALS 1. Maintain current and thorough product knowledge of all warehouse materials. 2. Develop and enforce processes that increase efficiencies in warehouse operations. 3. Develop staff through personnel assessment, goal setting, and cross-training. 4. “Own” the warehouses – keep facilities clean and well organized. 5. Maintain the “212 Principle” in all warehousing, S/R and material handling processes. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 1. College Degree or 3 years experience in heavy metal manufacturing preferably in an ASME Code certified environment. Professional membership preferred. 2. Ability to work as a Supply Chain management team member with all levels of management. 3. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written. 4. Excellent planning and organizational skills. 5. Functional use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems.
