partnership with Kenya Airways, with its strategies to expand wings beyond East Africa and
Africa.

position

POSITION:             CREW SCHEDULING OFFICER - TRACKING                  (3 POSTS)
REPORTING TO:         CREW SCHEDULING SUPERINTENDED
DUTY STATION:         DAR ES SALAAM

RE: RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be reporting to Crew Scheduling Superintendent - Precision Air Services Ltd
Please take note of your responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Ensure proper, efficient, safe and economical day to day monitoring and control of
crew utilization in the entire Precision Air routes structure.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSBILITIES
      Monitor day to day crew movement and participation on daily mayfly preparation
      Monitor daily crew hotel accommodation and reservations
      Preparation and monitor of crew positioning tickets
      Maintain crew records on flight and duty times, achieve roster, flight crew training
       records, license recurrence, medicals and validity of crew license
      Coordination with TCAA on crew licence renewals and validation as per regulation
      Preparation of monthly crew allowances and claims
      Establish and maintain proper communication channels for effective and well
       informed
       crew.
      Monitor crew sickness, follow up and advise Crew Scheduling Superintendent
      Track and monitor crew movement, position and schedules to ensure availability of
       adequate crew complement
      Ensure the roster’s run as close as possible to the published roster to maintain
       Regulatory
       requirements.
      Ensuring, in conjunction with Crew Scheduling Superintendent, satisfactory crew
       scheduling patterns and optimum utilization of all crew
      Communicate flight and other related information to crew and family and any other
       authorized parties at base and out of base in order to improve efficiency in
       information management.
      Ensure that correct records of flight crew are maintained and updated in conformity
       with legal requirements
      Ensure proper control of crew documents
      Prepare and advice the crew movement to transport provider to ensure prompt pick-
       up and drop-off of crew
      Report to the Crew Scheduling Superintendent on all crew scheduling matters and
       recommending any changes in crew scheduling policy which might be advantageous
      Any other duty as assigned by supervisor

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
   Punctuality
   Effective execution of duties and responsibility
   Timely release of crew reports on weekly or monthly basis as required
   Ensure minimum deviation between running roaster and the published roster while
     maintain Regulatory requirements
   Timely update of publish roster whenever disruption occurs or planned crew activities
     are not achieved
   Timely follow-up on hotel bookings and positioning tickets
   On-time reporting of all crew incidences which can impact the smooth running crew
     roaster and operations
   Cost control

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
      Diploma in statistics or related field, with at least 2 years experience in a relevant
       field
      Working knowledge of TCAR with emphasis on personnel licensing and operation of
       aircraft
      Excellent Computer skills
      Minimum 'A' level education with passes in mathematics
      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Contract
