					Job Description
Job Title:               Employer Liaison Co-ordinator

Reporting to:            Employer Engagement Manager

Overall Purpose:         To engage with employers and secure job opportunities for unemployed
                         clients. To facilitate appropriate recruitment and selection processes to
                         maximise sustainable job outcomes. To ensure high levels of customer
                         service are maintained through ongoing contact with all involved parties.
Scope of role:           To seek to identify areas for continuous improvement through creativity
                         and flexibility.
Key Tasks:                        To promote PPDG services to internal and external customers
                                   through marketing activities, particularly to employers.
                                  To identify employer’s recruitment and selection requirements and
                                   facilitate appropriate bespoke recruitment and selection processes
                                   in partnership with them.
                                  To be a source of expert advice regarding employer and vacancy
                                  To assist in the diagnosis of individual centre requirements and
                                   source job opportunities within appropriate occupational areas.
                                  To pre screen and work directly with clients to ensure they are
                                   appropriately prepared for recruitment processes.
                                  To maintain employer vacancy information and communication
                                  Monitor quality of CV’s and Application Form completion and
                                   provide appropriate feedback.
                                  To produce accurate and timely management information.
                                  Assist with evidence collection.
                                  To liaise closely with all relevant parties to ensure service levels
                                   are maintained.
                                  To adhere to quality processes and procedures
                                  To monitor own progress towards business and individual
                                  Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 each employee has a
                                   responsibility to Health and Safety and must also adhere to their
                                   responsibilities as laid out in the H & S policy.
                                  Any other related duties as required by the business objectives.
Person Specification:             An adept communicator with the ability to persuade, influence and
                                   listen to others
                                  Displaying     strong    motivational,  customer      service   and
                                   organisational skills
                                  Competent in the use and purpose of technology with excellent IT
                                  In possession of demonstrable lateral thinking skills
                                  Enthusiastic and flexible team player with high expectations of self
                                   and others
                                  Able to work under pressure, on own initiative and constantly seek
                                   to improve.
                                  Enhanced CRB check required
External liaison with:   Employers, Employer groups, clients
Internal liaison with:   Centre Managers and other local Team Members, Operations team,
                         Marketing, Human Resources, IT and other Head Office Departments.
