TITLE: Payroll Administrator-Part Time
SHIFT/FACILITY: Days/Vancouver
JOB NO.: 51-12
This job is open to: X Regular Tidewater Employees X External Applicants
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for all
payroll functions for Tidewater Barge Lines and
Tidewater Terminal Company. This part-time
position will be responsible for assisting the
Payroll Administrator with all payroll functions and
serving as back-up when necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum
of three years’ related work experience and/or
training, or equivalent combination of education
and training. Experience with payroll processing
in an organization of more than 150 employees is
preferred. Experience with union and multi-state
payroll is a plus. Experience with accurate
completion of all required payroll tax forms,
federal and state is preferred. Computer literacy
in commonly used business software products
such as spreadsheets, word processing and
database management. Excellent attention to
detail and ability to effectively handle stressful
situations and tight deadlines.
